    Is there a big difference when swapping the coyote and replacing a 6 cylinder, obviously it would require the transmission swap also. I'm thinking Gen 3 with a 10r80. You guys are awesome, greatly appreciate your channel and you have put together a great group of guys. Thanks

    The 5.0 swap is awesome!! I’m looking to have my S197 done about how much does it cost to get it done?

      If you use a truck motor is quite less, but engine and if PBH sells the harness probably around 5k or so, if you are doing the work yourself

    What do you do about the driveshaft differences? I have a GEN 1 with a MT82 going into a 2007 S197 which had the 3650 trans in it. I want to use the MT82, won't be beating on it and I will be using it for daily and long miles. The flange on the output of the MT82 is totally different than the 3650 and from my understanding there is a length difference between the transmissions. The pinion flange (8.8 gears 3.73) is I think the same as the driveshaft from the 2013 GT all this came from. I have yet to see anyone address that issue and figured since you guys do a ton of swaps, this is something you guys might know. Thanks

    Wonder how much a coyote swap with the 6 speed auto would run for my 2002 Z28. I really REALLY wanna irk this chevy boys in my area.

    • @damianlindsey6177
      @damianlindsey6177 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Micheal Hunt I have had this car for many many years and just mostly want to coyote swap it to piss off the chevy guys around me. Realistically, it's going to stay with the current 4.8 and my 83 ranger short bed is getting a coyote. There's cheaper swaps for that truck as well but I want bone stock idle and driveablility and 400 hp without boost or nitrous or having to open the motor up at all and it has to stay ford powered.

    Is a foxbody a good first car

    • @HaltomAutoworks
      @HaltomAutoworks 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Honestly no. They can be very reliable in their stock form 5.0 or 2.3 but they're old cars. If you're on a budget then youll probably end up with something thats not super solid. Now that being said mine was a daily for about 3 months and I also drove it 5 hours out of town for work. So they can be really reliable, if you're willing to work on it and get it there, then sure. But the good ones are getting hard to find and most are project cars by now

    • @MasonHunter11
      @MasonHunter11 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@HaltomAutoworks I'm probably gonna buy a 1999 ford f150 and buy a cheap crapy foxbody and just make it a project car for me and my dad to work on, on the weekends

    Seems like it would be better/easier/cheaper to just build the 3v bottom end and add boost.
