Exploring Salton Sea - Salvation Mountain - Slab City in My Land Cruiser

My buddy James and I drove the length around Salton Sea in 48 hours in my 1987 Toyota Land Cruiser exploring abandoned towns, outsider art, Slab City, East Jesus, Salvation mountain, abandoned air bases and thermal vents in the earth. Along the way we met some locals, helped rescue stuck and broken down vehicles. Join us on our adventure.

Those 2 fellers on the left were actually me and my dad. We were there to collect bugs and on the way back we saw those 2 guys were stuck so we tried to help em. We actually got em out of where they were stuck initially but then they got stuck again. That was a fun day.
