Great video! Loved seeing Keeler and the old timer - bet she has some stories to tell. I volunteered in the town and can confirm that 1) Brent is a great dude - exactly the same as you see in the videos 2) The bunk house is definitely haunted - I stayed in what was known as the "haunted room" and there were a lot of unhappy spirits in there to say the least

One of my favorite places is Cerro Gordo! I will be making a return trip up there this summer. My all time favorite was when Brent hosted the metal detecting weekend, and I along with many other people, had the opportunity to camp out there. My camp spot was just above the bunk house. Thanks for the look into the town of Keeler as well. Looks like I might be making a stop there as well.

Brian is interested in the preservation of Cerro Gordo. As part of his preservation efforts, Brian has open the town to tourism. Oddly except for a few visitors who stay during the night as well as tolerate the supernatural residents, most tourists visit during the day.

That riveted tank is most likely an accumulator - a pressurized air tank to help air drills maintain pressure while consuming air. Think of it like a capacitor in electrical circuits. Once they leave the mine, can be repurposed for anything imaginable.

Having visited Cerro Gordo, I saw the amazing real ghost town before Brent cluelessly overloaded ancient wiring and burned most of the structures. A crying video and his soliciting help allowed him to facilitate building a new version for tourists to visit. He's a great self promoter who destroyed most of the original Cerro Gordo ghost town. Some of us have difficulty forgiving him for that.
