Cruise Moab 2023 - Dome Plateau - Arches - Pt 2
This is my experience for the annual Cruise Moab experience put on by the Rising Sun 4 Wheel Drive Club in Colorado. I so excited, I finally got to go, this is my first year. We hit trails all over Moab and into Arches National Park. In this video we hit Dome Plateau, Arches 4WD trail, Cave Springs and even saw some dinosaur tracks. Epic!

Landcruiser FJ60 Build Using Skateboard Decks Major Set Back
มุมมอง 201ปีที่แล้ว
In this video I build a DIY project using old cut up skateboard decks in order to upgrade my 1987 Toyota Landcruiser FJ60. Failure along the way, but gotta keep going to make this custom tailgate cover in the back out of colorful skateboard tops. This homemade epoxy poured project gave me some challenges, but in the end I learned a lot.
We are Rewarded with a Cool Trip to this Abandoned Mine!
มุมมอง 805ปีที่แล้ว
I'll admit the thumbnail is click bait!, But hear me out....after coming down the mountain from Cerro Gordo, the Adventure Crew and Jefe the FJ60 Land Cruiser heads into Lone Pine for a bite to eat at Mt Whitney Best Burgers and has a brew at the oldest bar around - Jakes Saloon. Camping for the night, we wake the next day and head toward Reward Mine, but not before trying to take flight on Man...
Returning to Cerro Gordo After 11 Years! Brent Shows Us Around
มุมมอง 98Kปีที่แล้ว
Last time I visited Cerro Gordo it was a much different place. Back in 2011, the town seemed on the decline and not many people even knew it existed. Today there seems to be a boom happening again and it is thanks to new owner Brent Underwood and his dreams to build up the town, preserve history and make it destination for artists and tourists alike. Join me and my friends as we take a walking ...
Exploring Salton Sea - Salvation Mountain - Slab City in My Land Cruiser
มุมมอง 4312 ปีที่แล้ว
My buddy James and I drove the length around Salton Sea in 48 hours in my 1987 Toyota Land Cruiser exploring abandoned towns, outsider art, Slab City, East Jesus, Salvation mountain, abandoned air bases and thermal vents in the earth. Along the way we met some locals, helped rescue stuck and broken down vehicles. Join us on our adventure.
Land Cruiser FJ60 LED Tail Light Install - Digi-Tails Kit
มุมมอง 1.6K2 ปีที่แล้ว
There are no options out there for an 80s Land Cruiser FJ60 for LED Tail Lights aside from Chinese made LED bulbs. I located this kit with LED panels from Digi-Tails. This video describes the install process and shows how they work. For more info go to Digi-Tails.com. This video was not sponsored by them.
Goat Canyon Trestle Camping and Hike with Toyota FJ60 Land Cruiser
มุมมอง 1.5K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Our crew took a trek down to Anza Borrego state park to explore the abandoned rail line that leads to the Goat Canyon Trestle. This is the largest wooden train bridge in North America and was built in 1933. The rail line its self starts in San Diego and goes down to Baja Mexico and then back into the US to Arizona. This was originally completed in 1919 and was last used in 2008. It was called t...

27:05 Those 2 fellers on the left were actually me and my dad. We were there to collect bugs and on the way back we saw those 2 guys were stuck so we tried to help em. We actually got em out of where they were stuck initially but then they got stuck again. That was a fun day.

Great video! Loved seeing Keeler and the old timer - bet she has some stories to tell. I volunteered in the town and can confirm that 1) Brent is a great dude - exactly the same as you see in the videos 2) The bunk house is definitely haunted - I stayed in what was known as the "haunted room" and there were a lot of unhappy spirits in there to say the least

Clearance is typically not the issue, however, the 8 mile road is very steep and would likely drain the batt very quickly and get very hot.

That riveted tank is most likely an accumulator - a pressurized air tank to help air drills maintain pressure while consuming air. Think of it like a capacitor in electrical circuits. Once they leave the mine, can be repurposed for anything imaginable.
