Sleep Token music is more of an experience than just music. It truly is art , personally it’s been a long time since a new band has captured me like this and it’s really refreshing to see something so original in this day and age.

I freaking love sleep token!!! He is doing something truely unique for prog music. My fave sleep token songs are higher, the offering, levitate and say that you will. WORSHIP!!
Great that you've got around to Sleep Token, everyone will have a fav. But always loved Blood Sport and Sugar. Jaws great too from an earlier EP.
If you like this maybe at some point in the future a couple Aussie bands could get some love. Northlane and Thornhill, think you'll love both.

Cannot recommend Higher enough
That was the first song I heard from them. Beautiful and Heavy. Sleep Token in general will appeal to anyone into Deftones, to even bands like I dunno, Coldplay,Radiohead. Those fragile,but f'kin awesomely sung mealoncholic melodies. Higher's second chorus is incredible. It soars to the heavens. Drew will love it!

Thankyou for finally getting me into these guys. What a unique sound and solid album. Check out "higher", "Gods", "Sugar", or "the night does not belong to god" My initial favorites.
Their album (of which this is track 2 on) Sundowning which released last year was my favourite of the year, and I've still not stopped listening to it. Absolutely love it, front to back is an amazing listen, I don't think you'll be disappointed at all. Perhaps a full album reaction is on the cards? Haha.
Gotta recomend a band i can't stop listening to ! Haken have been blowing my mind for a while now so check out either The Architect or Messiah complex

'Curtains' is my personal favorite of theirs, and has the most genre-range in one song that I've ever heard... Every breakdown is another genre.

It's proggy, the musicianship is incredible and the vocals are just as impressive as the music. Jonas from Katatonia also does guest vocals spot.
That whole album, and its predecessor, is an absolute masterpiece.

Maith an fear,mo Chara le Sleep Token. Good man my friend with Sleep Token. This is a seriously underrated band/artist that, last year let loose the album to raaaave reviews. Full of huge emotion, dramatically sung and performed. It could be a mealoncholic pop song in places. But then Bang-- Massive, descending cliffs of Deftones sized riffs cascade from the speakers. Brilliant stuff. I absolutely think you will like that whole album- and I will defo go with the recommendation for the track "Higher". You will love that.

Ah yes. the song that started it all for me. My first introduction to Sleep Token, and somehow I feel something different every time I hear it. This was before the lore, the story and the message behind this band was known- this was something foreign... and to see where they went after this, it's actually not that far from where they started. I love coming back to this reaction.
Can't go wrong with any of their songs. They were my favorite find of 2020. Insane band. Chills every time. Jealous you get to experience them for the first time. My recs would be:

I love this band, and the bands that brought me to find this is VOLA, The Contortionist, and Haken.
You need to react to Blood Sport (From the room below) is a great piano reprise of the original version of the song and Sleep Token is such an underrated group and deserves so much more.
Just found ST and went back to listen to their older stuff. Most of it is decent, but this is one of the best songs I’ve ever heard
Since you like this guy’s vocals I really think you’ll like Voyager! I recommend To the Riverside/Ghost Mile as a good starting track. (To the riverside is listed as separate but it’s the intro, the music video for Ghost Mile has both tho)
Voyager are soooo underrated. Saw them live supporting Uneven Structure (who are also amazing!) and they were *so* tight!

I think it's pretty clear now, which type of music you absolutely love, Drew ;)
I would recommend the following :
- Soen - Martyr (quite similar Singing Stile to what we just heard, or Leprous for example)
- Riverside - Lost (more prog Rock, put excellent melodys and lyrics)
If you want to listen to something harder:
- Wilderun - Far from where dreams unfurl, or
- Wilderun - O Resolution (pretty unknown but they dropped one of the best albums last year)
- Oceans of Slumber - Winter (most popular Song by them but it's a good one, I recommend to see the video)

I gotta recommend Infinite Ilusiom - Absence, they’re a sick Australian band who’ve gained a little popularity through a reaction video and I think they deserve a lot more. Definitely one of my favourite tracks of the year

Pure Reason Revolution's new album is absolutely amazing, I'd recommend Silent Genesis.
Another band you'd kick yourself for not checking out is Rishloo. They're a little obscure, can't really find many other people reactiong to them, but the songs i'd suggest listening to from them are Landmines, Downhill, and Feathergun.
Nazareth and Calcutta are awesome as well. Try anything off Sundowning - it's an amazing CD. They're incredible live as well. Worship!

Mastodon - The Czar, its from the same album as oblivion which you listened to previously and its probably my favorite mastodon song
