saute 1 medium onion with 1 tbs olive oil. Once translucent, add 2 minced garlic cloves and 1 tablespoon minced ginger for 1 minute.
remove onion mixture and add 1 lb cubed stew meat to the pot to brown.
once browned, add back the onion mixutre back into pot and add 1/2 cup beef broth and 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp ginger, 1/2 tsp tumeric and 1/2 tsp salt
close lid and cook on high pressure for 15 minutes
open lid and add 4 cup of root vegetables of your choice (potatoes, yams, squash etc) and 1/4 cup of chopped dried fruit of choice (apricots, cranberries, rasins, figs, etc) . Close lid and pressure cook on high for 4 minutes.
