@Besteverfoodreiviewshow Sonny im very happy you finally did video in Puerto Rico. Looks like you guys had a blast and compared to your other videos this was by far the best. I’ve watched all 4 videos amazing. You should try D.R as well amazing place. Keep up the good work guys
Both the iguana and caiman (It’s not a crocodile) are not native here. People brought them over and the caimans are being used for eating the body of victims the drug dealers killed.
I’d love to see Oro react to situations that are way outside his comfort zone alongside Sonny in the future. They are awesome together and Oro is by far my favorite co-host. Don’t let their natural friendship go untapped 😊
Thanks For coming to our island and For taking your time to discover and experience what is a part of our culture. I hope You can come again and visit the west side of Puerto Rico
I've been watching this show for a long time and I admit that it doesn't always make me want to try the food, but this time, the crocodile meat really tempts me.
Two of the biggest hurdles they'll face are lobbyists from industrial farm companies who'd benefit most from PR's reliance on imported meat protein and proving consuming cayman have an acceptable level of risk to health.
The risk to health would be the mercury content. Funny thing, Sonny did a video on catching pythons in Florida, and they reputedly have a very high mercury content that would make them unsafe to eat in large quantities. Nature made them apex predators for a reason.
"Absolutely loved this adventurous journey through Puerto Rico's food scene! 🌮🐊 Oro and the Diaz brothers brought such enthusiasm and skill to the Cayman-catching experience. The traditional Puerto Rican dish 'paa' looked incredibly delicious, showcasing the unique flavors of the region. Kudos to the team for exploring and promoting diverse culinary options. Can't wait to see more exciting food adventures from you all! 🌟👏 #PuertoRicoFoodie #CulinaryExploration"
I love the humor between you to guys when you collaborate, more like brothers trying out different foods. It always makes me smile how much you guys laugh at each others jokes. But also get across the nationality and food of certain groups of people!!!❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊
The egnglish speaking one of the brothers reminds me a lot of the one cousin from guga foods with his food descriptions. I love it! His reaction when they were hunting was georgious! So pleasent to watch!
Sonny there are soo many home cooked meals all around the island that you can make a video of them. Great PR homes all over serving food right out of their homes with seating and service. Give it a try man. I really love this series as I have been a big fan of the island for over 20 years. Enjoy
👈I have a natural assumption that any creature that has some meat that seems highly inedible will just taste like chicken. And then, I have the courage to try it.
Ok I have Dominican roots and I have eaten in many Puerto Rican restaurants, and my Puerto rican brother and sister make a delicious Mofongo but it is fried not boil that is Mangu 😅
Sorry Sunny, I love all your videos, but as a puertorriqueño myself I had to laugh at the breakfast scene. Mofongo and crab for breakfast? Chasing it down with a Nedalla beer? I don’t think so, maybe for lunch! 😂😂😂
Sonny My best frien much love from South Africa and I hope 1 day i can meet u and I've been watching u since 2017 and i will continue to always watch em and i enjoy them
Mofongo and crab yes! But iguana and Cayman, never seen anyone eat that here, but then again i live in the metro area, that's way in the island so i guess thats the food there, gonna have to take ride around that area to see

And no one bats an eye at beer for breakfast in PR
I really love this tandem. Sonny and Oro's chemistry is just so good that I want to watch more of them together.
Yea I agree
Sonny and suzika were the best .
There was a chemistry
They are secret lovers that's what makes the chemistry work. 😂😂 Sonny is a very open person haha he is hilarious. Love em
I think the laid-back humor is reflective of the friendship. They sort of play off of each other, kind of like Harvey Corman and Tim Conway.
100% agree! On my 2nd video in a row today of these two
This show has come a long way. Its way better than anything you can find on network tv nowadays. Thank you Sonny for sticking to TH-cam😀
No it really is TV sucks!!
G comment
Man take Oro with you everywhere. You don’t really care about wild out of the ordinary foods and his reactions are always priceless.
"You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law" got me🤣🤣
U mean the guy wiping his nose😅😅😅😅
The Cayman : "Just eat me already ya bully"
I love how you get into the culture as usual. It’s so important for all of us to learn and appreciate it. Keep doing more.
I love Oro. You can tell he feels like he's in over his head, but he's still gonna get the job done. He gets a 10/10, no notes.
Oro is definitely one of my favorite co hosts on here. I love how funny he is
I would love if Sonny, Oro, Calvin and Andrew would go on an adventure together!!... it would be AWESOME!!
Calvin dude!!!!!! Always
They would prob end up sharing the same hotel room anyway.@@alejandropacheco7832
Behruz all the way!!
Calvin and Nguyen is the best
Damn I love it when Oro is on the show. I might be biased because I'm Cuban, but I don't care, that dude is dope 😂
Everyone here loves oro
I’m loving all the Puerto Rican content!!! My beautiful island!
Yep and your beautiful self!!!
I always love Puerto Rico ♥️ I remembered a gorgeous woman from Puerto rico. I never seen beauty like her. That's why I still remembered her today.
Love how you start breakfast with a beer on the side. Breakfast of champions.
That’s how we do it 💯🇵🇷

Don't the addicts love to see it
@@Unkn0wnGrac3 exactly.
What if you gotta go drive to work?
the best comedy duo..
the chemistry is hilarious....😂😂😂
It’s hard to find TH-camrs I can just binge on Sundays as I get older. This channel is funny, and educational it’s perfect keep up the good work!
Can't believe that Puerto Rico import so much food from the states, If I lived in Puerto Rico I would eat all of the iguana and crocodile.
Both the iguana and caiman (It’s not a crocodile) are not native here. People brought them over and the caimans are being used for eating the body of victims the drug dealers killed.

@@Tata-bd9nxwhy would she need to calm down? 🤨 she was explaining sth
@@itsmearayan because even if there is some truth in it, it is not neccesarily as she says, especially the iguanas.
@@iamtorregoare the iguanas native from Puerto Rico? None of what she said was wrong.

Sonny! Can you adopt Oro and take him with you, EVERYWHERE?
Sonny, Oro at it again! That food looks so delish! What another great video! 😊

I freaking LOVE ORO!!! Sonny you and him are a GREAT comedic team and you always have great content.

It's 5 o'clock somewhere
Hell I've been at it since 5:30am. It was five o'clock then.
@thomascook393 my type of human
I've been watching this show for a long time and I admit that it doesn't always make me want to try the food, but this time, the crocodile meat really tempts me.
It’s not a crocodile. It is an alligator (cayman).
Puerto Rico te encanta que viva Puerto Rico . Puerto Rico se te quiere de corazón .
I have only ever had crocodile tail and it was absolutely delicious. So shout out to Puerto Rico Crocodile Lechon sounds and looks amazing.
My only concern would be the mercury content. That's something to consider when you want to make any carnivorous reptile a staple part of your diet.
In Puerto Rico the Caiman, Crocodile and Iguanas are invasive animals. What these guys are doing is great for the island environment
Calling Caimans crocs isn't entirely inaccurate, they're part of the crocodilia order, but they're of the alligator family.
I need a whole series of just Oro and Sonny traveling together

Mangúngo estraños ese jajaja. El mofongo es frito si o si
I love food from Puerto Rico since I was a kid living in NYC
Deborah Hernandez has the most beautiful and genuine looking smile I've ever seen.
Awww thanks so much. Im actually camera shy😅
Oro has been a gem. His humour especially. Cohost with him in more future videos

They literally serve alligator in New Orleans, here's no reason this can't be legalized.
Mi isla! I’m so excited to have you cover our amazing food culture. Thank you
Huge respect to the lady preparing those foods by hands with those nails
I actually tried alligator at Thanksgiving last year. It was actually a really good meat.
2:20 as soon as he said that, i thought of the 3 marios and luigis "making mofongo!" 😭😭😂😂
Oro and Sonny Cant find Croc.
Sonny: No luck.
Oro: No luck for you. Good luck for me. 😂
Sonny should bring Oro and Calvin together 😆
👈I have a natural assumption that any creature that has some meat that seems highly inedible will just taste like chicken.

Oro`s face when you said he was hunting crocodile 😂😂😂 his eyes always shine tho. Sonny , he is the ultimate ❤❤❤❤

Godbless Everyone:)

I know you were payed to talk about better health but i appreciate that you talked about mental health in the video.
No one eats crocodile in Puerto Rico, this is very new
1 fest in nov 2023. More than 1,500 pp attended. 1 fest 18 feb 2024, 1 fest canovanas august 2024. So yess this is happening.
Some people do! And it is not new, I remember seeing kioskos selling caiman pinchos in Vega Baja by the mid 2000s.
Mi isla del encanto! Bendiciones para todos.
No offence but, the Mofongo is not originally boiled, it is actually double fried like Tostones and THEN it is mashed.
True. 😊
Yeap!
Facts
lol I think Oro is having fun watching Sonny struggling to grab the croc especially after dissing him after their iguana hunt 🤣
I want to try it now.
I had an alligator quesadilla in Florida. Pretty good
Why’s Oreo wearing a bin bag 😂
“It looks like a little dog” lmao that killed me 😭😂
Croco thats actually a very good name
I can attest crocodile tastes great, it does taste much like chicken
Mofongo and crab yes! But iguana and Cayman, never seen anyone eat that here, but then again i live in the metro area, that's way in the island so i guess thats the food there, gonna have to take ride around that area to see
Nope. It's not common in the island at all, neither iguana nor alligator.
the "herba paste" is called SOFRITO! :)
Crocs is one of the best tasting and most underrated meats out there. I could taste it only one time arrived frozen (EU, landlocked country), and it was MAGICAL, even though I just fried it on some oil with some salt.
“Croco?”
Croco! :)”
🤣🤣🤣
Was hoping this video was sponsored by Lacoste 🐊
Loved it how Oro asked if he could eat another piece.
Mofongo and Medalla Lights. That's a true PR breakfast my friend ❤

This was an awesome video... Thanks
I'm really keen to try crocodile and frog legs haha. Seems very similar kind of meat to chicken.
This episode was awesome! ❤
That's caiman, not Crocodile
Caiman are crocodiles
That presentation though...lol
Those flies on the crock tacos, rice and bbq crock add all the flavour lol. 🤣
You guys are hilarious. The massive overreaction to a tiny little croc is entertaining ! 😂
