I've watched you for years, and I've waited for years for you to come here and experience my culture. I'm a proud Kamilaroi woman and appreciate your genuine take on things Sonny & Andrew. It would take you 100 episodes to cover even a fraction of our food & culture, given how old our first nations people are, but I'm so grateful for you showing a snippet of it.
Aunty was 100% correct about how bad addiction & lower socio-economic status is our biggest killer. Generational trauma (genocide, stolen generation, misplacement, racism, police trauma, health degeneration etc) is unfortunately left untreated and ends in self medication. We weren't built for the modern, colonised life. We were fine for 65,000 years before invasion.

There are currently significant discussions taking place regarding aboriginal rights. These discussions shed considerable light on the matter. What Sony is accomplishing is bestowing upon people a profound sense of identity. As I witnessed you confront the weight of 60,000 years of human history, I couldn't help but be struck by your immense humility. It was as if I witnessed the presence of gods walking among mortals. This is not merely a video about food; it represents a pivotal moment for anyone who watches it. Your work epitomizes the pure essence of art restoration, devoid of any attempt to dictate or embellish. Instead, you simply observe, assuming the role of a cultural observer, a steward of civilization, and a seeker of the forgotten paths of humanity. God Bless You!

The Voice is simply an opportunity for Government's to create a constant 'balance of power' situation and a body that can be bought. The voice is hardly the insight of Aboriginal people, there is around 900,000 Aboriginals in Australia, and they all don't think the same, they will not even be consulted regarding anything 'The Voice' will be handling. The government is just creating a corruptible body (and that isn't because they are Aboriginal before anyone goes nuts, they are corruptible because the body is filled with human beings with power and access to tax money)
