This is much more than just a food show. Sonny have gone way beyond what other willing to go, to introduce us to different culture. Thank you very much.
A tad over twelve years, retired in the Philippines. I have done lizard and python cooked in coconut milk with a few hot peppers to add some kick. We have also enjoyed native chicken cooked several ways. One time, when my friend's bird won, he brought home the looser and made "fighting cock adobo" for our evening meal. Recently, we had a bit more of a mundane meal when our hostess at a resort prepared some ducks from the pond using her "secret recipe" and shared a portion with us as we shared what we had brought to the camp. The Filipino way, friends, food and fun!
I'm glad that I'm able to have a picture to you last year when you are in BINONDO Ongpin I really like your channel that's why I noticed you when you are in BINONDO

Just because they're dark and has frizzly hair doesn't mean they're Africans. I bet you would say the same thing with the Orang Asli of Malaysia, Papuans and various Melanesian peoples.
To show even more of the local culture, it would be nice to have extra clips, or add in content interacting or interviewing some locals! Then we can get even more of the feeling of travelling there ;)
What I noticed is that people from Luzon tend to be more racist or elitist. They dont treat other tribes as equal, they even look down on visayan people. Here in Mindanao, we are taught to respect the tribe people

Oh my gosh! I've been watching you when you were still starting. I'm from Luzon. Isabela specifically, if I knew you were coming I would've gladly give you a tour in our province.
You're a one hell of a food vlogger. Its not the food but the culture and education we learned from ur vlog that makes me look forward to your videos. Thank you for sharing with us your amazing and authentic videos.
I adore your show! I appreciate how you delve into the depths of Filipino food culture, uncovering aspects even native Filipinos may not know. Your enthusiasm to explore Philippine food culture and bring viewers from all corners of the globe along in your culinary journey is truly commendable. Your show not only entertains but also educates. I eagerly anticipate more in-depth Filipino food content in upcoming episodes. Truly, the best food review show ever!

Sonny was holding that long tailed macaque like a little baby and the cute monkey was so adorable when it fell asleep in his arms 🥹
4:14 The way how he cook is similar to my local food in Cambodia ❤ .
using bamboo and chicken krill
You're solid, Man! Way to go! 🔥
This food review show is raw at its core
This is much more than just a food show. Sonny have gone way beyond what other willing to go, to introduce us to different culture.
Thank you very much.
I have met some of the Aeta people 😊 they come sometimes during fiestas to our area 😊 much respect
Thank you for introducing us to the Ayta Tribe! Awesome culture. Love your amazing video production, knowledge learned and your jokes. lol
I'm glad that I'm able to have a picture to you last year when you are in BINONDO Ongpin I really like your channel that's why I noticed you when you are in BINONDO

17:41 I've recently discovered that those are cucumber trees, which we refer to as "iba" in our area and as "kamias" in some regions.

Great that you are doing such videos featuring our country, Philippines.
Love the channel, subbed! Thank you!
Thanks!
Nice.
My Favorite food review vlogger!❤❤❤
I can still remember that sonny says he will be back in the Philippines and make way more better video to showcase what really Phillipines can offer.
And here we see now. Made his word. 🎉🎉❤❤
We need to have more shows like this on TH-cam. It's like 70% of TH-cam now is just people's reactions to stuff.
WE NEED MORE SHOWS LIKE THIS! ❤
Thank you for showing love for the food culture in the Philippines.
This channel is so well produced.
I love your work,Sonny - & your team!🎖🎖🎖😎😎😎🌟🌟🌟
hi Sony, try pinikpikat in kalinga apayao- ancient style of cooking---
This channel is not only abt food but also abt knowledge of many Countries❤
I just want us all to admit that African presence is all over the globe, look at those indigenous phillipinos! Thanks again sonny ur videos are extremely helpful.❤
yea, we human were from africa and migrated all over the world. and? you sound woke
…really? “African presence”, “look at those indigenous Filipinos”. The way you say this sounds stereotypical. Our culture is different.
They are Filipinos, in Indonesia we have our black people's too but they are still Indonesian, because they live, grow, die, in that place.
Just because they're dark and has frizzly hair doesn't mean they're Africans. I bet you would say the same thing with the Orang Asli of Malaysia, Papuans and various Melanesian peoples.
Black doesn’t mean African. Black people are native ❤.
Wow. This is something like a show i watched on TV.
I'm so proud of this channel 👏.
Love your work, Sonny Side!!
Touring around the world idol. Ang now you're here.. Welcome to Philippines!!! Mabuhay.
Braves Food Reviewer, Respect ❤
Please do more content about Filipino foods, watching from Philippines 🇵🇭
I am a Filipino but we respect monkey's we love them💕
Yeah this is probably the closest thing to cannibalism you can get.
@@0xskareating pig not monkey
"I love monkey" shhiiiiiit, but he eats pig😂
Your country eats them😮 absolutely terrible
To show even more of the local culture, it would be nice to have extra clips, or add in content interacting or interviewing some locals! Then we can get even more of the feeling of travelling there ;)
What I noticed is that people from Luzon tend to be more racist or elitist. They dont treat other tribes as equal, they even look down on visayan people. Here in Mindanao, we are taught to respect the tribe people
Lol. Visayans are the most chauvinistic people out there, Cebuano-speakers in particular. Even Moros dislike them.
This is one of the great episodes of you Sonny in the Philippines.. You go into the deep story of one of our tribes like any other country. Your vlog is very informative, educational and even eye opening to everyone..
11:39 im definitely gonna use that trick, thankyou
‘So far the rice is my favourite part’ 😂😂that’s so honest. Me watching even feel that should be your favorite part.
Filipino here, I can confirm bayawak adobo slaps
Sonny putting his physical well being on the line for content will never get old
