Hey Mike! I'm presently a cancer patient with a feeding tube; unable to eat, but love all your videos brother! I eat vicariously through you; the food looks fantastic and the fact that you enjoy yourself so much brings me joy. I enjoy the 'little' things in life now and to see you enjoy your life, travels and meals are such a pleasure. I have Crohn’s and I’ve had a feeding tube many times. It can be so hard not eating. Praying things are better and you’re recovering now xx

Strictly Dumpling can you find some halal chinese/ asian restaurants in NY? some people are muslim and love dumplings but can’t have pork or outside meat
Why not buy frozen wonton/dumpling wrappers and make your own? They're available in most supermarkets' frozen aisles!

My god thank you... My mother's friend always gifted us some dumplings she buys in bulk and I always wondered what brand they were. The bags were unmarked usually since she gives us like 1 1/2 bags in a gallon ziploc, but those dumplings from the first place looks just like what I have been searching for. WOOHOO

If you are ever visiting Chengdu, I highly recommend the dumplings! Good dumplings, but the chilli oil is the star of the show; so fragrant with fresh herbs/spice mix with that numbing Sichuan peppercorn. Literally, the best sauce I've ever tasted anywhere! I could put that stuff on everything (except dessert, that would be weird)

oh yeah, let me recommend a soup dumpling place in flushing too, it’s called nan xiang. It’s close to the second place in the j mart food court. I’m pretty sure u just walk up a bit more and make a left and you’ll see it. It usually has a big line during the weekend so u bet it’s really good

I’m from Fuzhou and those wontons are actually how they are made back home. In Fuzhou, the skin is made from meat (pounded super super thin and then wrapped around more meat. I went to that place in New York and can say it is extremely authentic, tasted just like home!
Now I have to find meat on meat Fuzhou dumplings.
