I don't know why I didn't see this until today, but man, this is so good.
I was at a _house fire_- bon fire, I was at a bon fire
He was in character the whole time. Part of the humor was the fact his character wasn't very good at being humorous. Kinda the same how Marlin from "Finding Nemo" trying to tell a joke is funny. It's hilarious because he's terrible at it. Not everyone finds this style of humor funny. That's fine, it isn't everyone's cup of tea.
i liked it.
why are you here?
Yeah, because it's funny based on not being funny. It's like someone winning a prize for being so good at sucking that they had to award him with something, because he's doing it on purpose. It's dumb.
See, the jokes themselves aren't supposed to be funny He's supposed to bomb. However, what should bring the comedy is his delivery and how FUNNY he bombs, and that's also not there. That's the core of the gig. He does unfunny jokes with an unfunny delivery making for a very bad set. None of this is funny, even though it's supposed to.
Antoan Markov I see what you're saying. and I actually agree too. If his delivery was good this would probably be hilarious while being in character. It's just that some people take this type of situational humor by face value and I wanted to explain that the humor was in the character.
Antoan Markov it's really not like that at all.
This is my favorite thing ever

This guy is a great example of acting as well as comedy. He really nails his act.
Kay you guys are ridiculous! This guy 'bombed' absolutely purposefully.
its because it's a skit

+maxinator317 comedians don't do skits
+Nash Chandranatha what?
+drakean020 nah they do "sketches"
