I am now 66 and the more I hear The Waifs the more baffled I get that I had never even heard of them until TH-cam threw "Crazy Train" from Wave Aid 2005 at me just before Christmas 2023. How is it that such a talented band only reached my sphere of musical experience after they had split (the 2023/24 dates notwithstanding)? OK, I'm in the UK but it is clear that Donna, at least, was (still) in London at some point and yet I (still) missed out. This is one of the very best sessions I have ever heard.
I love this band I listen to them every chance I get and they are my first choice on my page of music

The Waifs have often played at wineries, from Denmark, Western Australia to New York City. It´s really no wonder. They were always brilliant but, like good wine, with age they get even better. My Donna, wish I hadn´t missed you in Freo, but one can´t leave Austria just any day of the week.
