I never realized how beautiful "little talks" is. My lover suffers from paranoid schizophrenia, and sometimes the voices take her away for weeks at a time. Our relationship is the greatest joy in my life. This song will forever be close to my heart.
I myself suffer from paranoid schizophrenia, I just want to let you know that you most likely mean the world to them for being there when they get drawn into their own head. At least that is how I feel myself whenever I get taken away for a few weeks time.
Man I love music section comments like this -- actually helps to give me faith in humanity (that seems to go down when I read comments on news videos.)
@SanDra-zr9he I agree! I think it's the beat... and the cadence of their lyrics alongside the rhythm They're a very rhythmic band and it makes me happy and calm, too
What a beautiful comment. Love to you and your grand daughter. May you live a long happy life. I miss my grand parents so much and wish they were still here for us to have experiences like the two of you are having
My sister passed away three years ago from an overdose and you guys where one of her favorite bands, Little talks brought me to tears. thank you for keeping a part of her memory alive...

As much as I love seeing these at big performances and festivals, this seems like the best setting for these songs, it's fragile and intimate, comforting and beautiful.
When i was a kid back in 2012 my mom used to blast the album whenever we got in the car. became one of my favorites ever. now i'm almost 20 and still hits hard. thank u for the beautiful music. love from Brazil
What's rare about this music, is it always has and always will, feel like home. Often we go through life and certain music feels good in one stage, nostalgic in another. Sometimes you forget that you used to feel one way when listening and that part of you is long and gone. Not with them, though. OMAM was one of the first albums I ever downloaded. I've never been a "superfan," never went to a concert, even . But they feel like absolute home. They've carried me with good feelings through Chicago high-rise living, SoCal surf lifestyle, and small midwestern suburb mamahood where I've rediscovered my deep connection with nature. A rare league of musicians.
You saying. ....home.... as I sit at home hearing this for the first time, I couldn't agree with you more. It's lonely today here for sure. Even still, home is one of thr best feelings in the world. Can turn life down low don't feel like your imposing on your friends that bless their hearts give you shelter from your storms. It rains more in my world and they know😊 it. They either love me or put up m with me. The gift of that kindne 18:43 ss is so mething that I can't explain or even comprehend. It feels like a miracle when it happens, if that's what a miracle feels like. Anyhow, home in of itself is refuge for your balls. after you've been kicked in the nuts. Can shut the door on bad vibes here too. ❤
Listening to them feels like being wrapped up in flannel, on a cold winter day. Safe and warm, yet able to reach out and touch your fears and insecurities.
At some point our men need to be masculine males. This limp-wristed, milk toast, pantywaist crop of soft little boys coming up will wither and fall, like seeds cast upon concrete, they can neither take root nor stand on their own. It’s no wonder the women feel like they need to be bold and dominant.
I don't know what it is, but OMAM really knows how to put you in a mood. I've seen them live twice, in Stockholm and Reykjavik, and got goosebumps and tears of joy both times. This concert makes me relive those moments. I accidentally woke up at 3 in the night and watched the whole thing. It's just beautiful!
I am so humbled. I've been so depressed, I haven't hardly left the couch in weeks. I am weeping. What my life was missing was music. Music. And this... Thank you.. Just... Thank you for the beauty.
Still obsessed with these beautiful people and their beautiful music after so many years! My young adult children love them as well❤ has gotten me through and still gets me through dark times, thank you.
I'm 70. The first song I found of theirs (FINALLY!...GOOGLE/TH-cam! It's about TIME!) was 'Love, Love, Love, which really affected me.' If Alphabet, Inc./Google/TH-cam REALLY knew us better than we know ourselves, like they say, I would have heard this wonderful band 10 years ago. Got some catching up to do.
One of the best records of the last twenty years. Absolutely brilliant. To me it represents the ultimate expression of storytelling through the medium of music that harkens back to days of old, where people sang and told stories around the community campfire. They’ve captured that spirit with this record. One of my all time favorites.
Of Monsters and Men is one of my most favorite bands of all time. Their sound is so unique and calming, and the chemistry between them is so endearing to witness. Their songs have accompanied all the highs and lows in my life, which deserves a special page in my book. I had never heard O.M.A.M until running across this video on youtube... I BECAME AN INSTANT fan, and this collection of songs is heartfelt, meaningful and beautiful in every sense.. THANK YOU
Just want you to know that I was first heard your music in a restaurant. I found out who you were and had to get your CD. Now I grew up with the Beatles in the sixties and heard and saw the best. But, I want you all to know that every song that you sang is a classic. I may be an old guy, but I know great music when I here it. It has to move the heart and mind....you guy's are just great. Thank you, from Georgia, USA ps. I played your album until it's worn out.....😁.
I also first heard them in a restaurant. It was the music video for King and Lionheart playing on a screen and I was still a child then. Spent years searching for that video and now I'm proud to be part of the OMAM family ☺️
Also me. Heard it in a restaurant that i used to work. And this song is so notalgic and bring much memories for me and i can remember how busy my workplace was
These songs are so haunting. It seems like remembering something before you were born. Almost like they are playing music from the hidden origin of existence. How is something so different seem so familiar?
It’s amazing how music can change or save someone’s life in so many ways. I should have been dead 10 times over now. But when listening to bands like this I can escape in my head. Thank you😉
I've listened to this hundreds of times, I have a tattoo on my arm, it says "OMAM" and today this songs hit my heart just like the first time. Love you
High school memories ... Life was so much more simpler back then - sports, friends and most of the responsibilities were good grades in school and that's mostly it. Everything else had been taken care of by the parents. Now after a few funerals, finished uni, work, life is still beautiful, but it just doesn't have that charm that it had when you were either a kid or adolescent - that feeling of foreverness and safety. Oh well, at least I can be grateful to had the chance to experience it and to have this nostalgic feeling for 'the good old days', some unfortunately don't even have that. Strangers of the internet, enjoy your life and be happy! Hope you are doing fine! Kind regards, J
Foreverness, this is exactly what it feels like! Thank you for this short prose, take care of your foreverness and try to keep it for as long as you can. May life be good on you, J.
I, like many, spent the eighties and nineties listening to revolutionary music and bands, and after years I thought it would be very difficult for a band to captivate me like the bands of my childhood and adolescence. Then I first heard Dirty Paws in 2012 and immediately fell in love. The arrangements, voice, personality and songs that tell stories about men and monsters, I had never heard the same. You are already revolutionary and legendary. thanks for all the music.
I've been listening to you guys for 10 years, now I'm 25. Your music has been a comfort for me all these years. This whole video is nostalgic and brings me such happiness!! Please come to New York when you can ❤
When I went to college I would have horrible anxiety driving on the freeway to school because I was a new driver. My car could only use CDs so I bought and burned a copy of My Head is an Animal and played it on repeat to calm my nerves. It got me through that anxious time and still is one of my favorite albums of all time ❤️
The cabin versions of Yellow Light, From Finner and Little Talks are so stunning. Something about the pureness of the melodies strikes a different emotional chord
The realisation that I've been listening to my head is an animal for ten years is very moving, the magic of this album is still not lost on me even after all this time, it is truly one of my favourites albums of all time. All I can say is thank you of monsters and men, listening to this session is like visiting an old close friend that I will always cherish and appreciate and I'm so thankful this album exists so beautifully.
There's something so majestic about this band it gives me chills everytime I'm listening to one of their songs , love you guys I've been listening to you since i was very young and didn't understood English very well at that time but i definitely enjoyed it then and still do till this day..
Everytime I listen to you guys I cry in a mix of sadness and the most powerful joy one can feel. I love you, guys. You're my favorite since I met you, and I have no plans to change that.
Its been 10 years since I discovered your music. I was a child back then. This brings back sweet memories from childhood and of a concert of yours in 2016
this band means a lot to me! every single one of their songs had a big impact on my when i was in high school. still brings me comfort to this day. thank you so much!
I listened to these songs on the way home when I had my worst heartbreak, in the car in the rain, and your song. Oh, listening to this song reminds me of that feeling.
Love, love, love has always had a special place in my heart but this version is all I've been wanting and more. Nanna's voice is beautiful. So many raw emotions. Thank you for this!
I remember these kids from their humble beginnings. I was working on a very low budget TV show in Iceland where we interviewed them in the rehearsal space of some other musicians. I think I remember them doing one song on the sofa. I did not suspect that they would go on to be this popular. But they still look much the same to me. Like the shy kids next door. Amazing performers and the songwriting is pretty good too. I'm really happy for them.
Time and time again, I come back here to just .... zone out, chill out, focus, get my soul together and spend time with what now starts to feel like a good friend. Thank you for this
Minha banda internacional favorita dos últimos anos! Sem dúvidas o som deles me ajuda nos piores momentos, e potencializa também os bons momentos! Cheers from Brazil!
I heard Little Talks for the first time when I was 16. Been in love with everything you do since then. This world is blessed because you create and share your art, OMAM. Thank you
I was also 16 when Little Talks came out and I fell in love with OMAM too. I'm hoping to see them in concert the next time they tour. Their music is so incredible. Crazy to think what's changed in the past 10 years
It's so lovely to hear you guys sing all of your early songs with such rawness and sincerity. In a way, they still make me feel exactly the same, your music always sounded like magic to me, even after all these years. I hope you will continue on for a long time.
So amazing! I remember back in the day when I heard "Little talks" the first time in the car or something like that and I absolutely loved the music, the melody and the style, listened to the rest of the album and became a fan for life, you guys are amazing and I'm glad to have had the opportunity to see you play live before the Pandemic changed our lives. I hope to see you love again some day. Greetings from Melbourne, Oz
This is so 2011 to 2012 vibes! So much beautiful memories. Definitely the soundtrack of my 20’s. I love how their music sort of evolved and matured. It feels like it suits my present me more than ever before. Thank you for the music and memories! Cheers from across the atlantic.
god i love these guys so much. they were the first band for me when i started listening music on the internet as a kid. i've literally grown up with them and they took me through the best and the roughest moments of my life. still my all-time favorite band even after 10 years! plain crying watching this. thank you for your songs and thank you that you exist.
I got a ticket to see them live in Mexico before the pandemic happened, they couldn't come to the concert but I still keep the ticket, I'll see them live some day! I hope :)
My favorite thing about this band is that every time I discovered a new live version I hadn’t heard it’s a completely unique experience to every other live version I listened to - even tho they’re the same songs they’re able to bring a whole new vibe to them
Haven't _quite_ been with this band since the beginning- a friend turned me onto them in 2014- but they've been a huge influence on my life ever since. I'm truly grateful.
Every single song on this album contains a different emotion and memory for me. Every single song on this album I adore and have listened to repeatedly these last 10 years. I have many artists I love, but not one of these artists has put out an album so perfect as this one in my opinion. Thank you for putting such raw emotion and beauty into your music. I plan on listening to this album for the rest of my life.
This album is absolutely flawless and what a beautiful way to celebrate 10 years. As someone who has been listening since the beginning, this is such a welcome sound. To the ones who have been here since the start of OMAM, welcome back, and to the ones who are just now discovering the treasure that these people truly are, welcome! There are three types of music. Music you hear, music you listen to, and music you feel. This is 100% music that you feel. Thank you so much for this wonderful art.
I recently drove to another city and listened to OMAM on repeat all the way. This is my most awesome ride ever. I will never forget her. Looking forward to new tracks :) Недавно я ехал в другой город, и всю дорогу на повторе слушал OMAM. Это блин моя самая атмосферная поездка. Никогда её не забуду. Жду новые треки :)
This is so wonderful. It's great to hear how they've grown as musicians and refined their craft since the album's release. And their voices are on point big time in this performance.
This Cabin Session saved me from an anxiety attack while I was studying for a selection interview for a master program. So much calm and tranquility can be feel in your music. Thank you so much.
it's so good to read the comments and see how many people omam helped, me included! I discovered them back in 2015 when i was 12 and i got chills with their music since then. They really helped me in my dark and bright moments, and also they helped me to create some of my original characters and their stories, so i'll never be sure how to express all my gratitude for them existing and creating so many beautiful songs. Lots of love for u all ♡
This band it’s the most precious thing that happen in my life, it’s so pure and unique, I’ve been listening to them since 2014, I have the opportunity to listen to them on live when they came to Lollapalooza Chile 😭 it was magical
Whenever I hear someone say this generation has no music, I just laugh. Every generation gets to have great and terrible music, you guys are one one of the best of ours :D
Simply marvelous, joyful, comforting, empowering, I'd keep going with the adjectives until I get writer's cramp, and still not convey the depth of feeling this group gives me. I love them.
@@robertcreighton272 Thats a great comparison, Simon and Garfunkel would be proud... also Sound of Silence & Bridge over Troubled Water are my favorites.
this brought back so many old feelings. I remember the first time I heard OMAM on the radio when I was so much younger. Seeing this video feels like a full circle moment. Thank you for the joys and transcendence your music has brought me all through the years
I know I‘m young, but I grew up listening to this album. It means so much to me, so this made me cry. But like a good, healthy cry of remembering all of my childhood
10 years ago this album helped me get a good night's sleep after ending a relationship. Thank you so much, to this day my favorite album. whenever I'm sad the best medicine.
@ofmonstersandmen Your music is timeless. I remember discovering "Little Talks" for the first time when is was around 15 years old, and went through difficult times - but I overcame them every single time "King and Lionheart". You're the inspiration we started our band. Because of the timeless lyrics and authentic music that speaks to the soul - through every decennia that leads us to a new path, sadly not always with green feet, but more with "Dirty Paws." The seed of inspiration is still young. But it will grow, with love, friendship, our passions and interests and...time. "Slow and steady" You are an example. And we are rediscovering your music every single time. Thank you, to lead us our way "Moutain sound". You are our inspiration. “We rise, only when necessary. As artists, healers, musicians, lovers, friends are united. No matter who we are. We love.” (c) moonatnoonsunatrun "Love Love Love"

Strangers of the internet, enjoy your life and be happy! Hope you are doing fine!
Kind regards,
J
Nice story, thanks for that, pay it forward as it's true that not everybody had that luck, cheers!
im 53 and feeling similar
Foreverness, this is exactly what it feels like! Thank you for this short prose, take care of your foreverness and try to keep it for as long as you can. May life be good on you, J.
Well said..
Grateful to have read that. You verbalised exactly what the song at that specific time felt like. Thank you, stranger from the internet!
That was very well said buddy
This is exactly how I feel about them. Their voices are so amazing and the lyrics are very deep.
This is one of those iconic sessions I'm always coming back to. Beautiful, through and through.
I've been listening to you guys for 10 years, now I'm 25. Your music has been a comfort for me all these years. This whole video is nostalgic and brings me such happiness!! Please come to New York when you can ❤
this is literally perfection.
Totally agree!
It really is.
Definição perfeita!
A set of sweet matches :`)

There's always a special place in my heart for you guys. Whenever things are tough, headphones on listen to OMAM and everything seems not so bad.
When I went to college I would have horrible anxiety driving on the freeway to school because I was a new driver. My car could only use CDs so I bought and burned a copy of My Head is an Animal and played it on repeat to calm my nerves. It got me through that anxious time and still is one of my favorite albums of all time ❤️
This almost made me cry. Such great vibes from teenage days!
I loved the entire setlist, but the stripped down Little Talks was so fresh, so stunning, absolutely beautiful. I love this band so much.
The cabin versions of Yellow Light, From Finner and Little Talks are so stunning. Something about the pureness of the melodies strikes a different emotional chord
Thank you, guys... you're making part of my life and my memories, always cheering me up when I need it... Thank you very much, love u all
Cheering up an crying at the same time !!

OMG, this Little Talks version (41:09) is so heavenly amazing! ♥ as well as the whole session
I'm so glad it's on Spotify now 🤭
INSANELY BEAUTIFUL!
i know, right? i was actually pretty tired of that song, but this version was just lovely!

Forever in love with this band. Each member is brilliant, I love the drumming
So good to return to music from when the world was less complicated… warm memories ❤️
Love, love, love has always had a special place in my heart but this version is all I've been wanting and more. Nanna's voice is beautiful. So many raw emotions. Thank you for this!
I really hope 2024 brings new music by these guys. Would love to see them live
Every single time I listen to any OMAM song I just get this amazing feeling of joy that makes want to cry. Love it everytime
Time and time again, I come back here to just .... zone out, chill out, focus, get my soul together and spend time with what now starts to feel like a good friend. Thank you for this
Same 🙂
Minha banda internacional favorita dos últimos anos!
Crazy to think what's changed in the past 10 years
My sister introduced me to OMAM not too long before she passed. I love them so much and their music will always bring tears
Still one of the best albums, start to finish, ice ever heard. I absolutely adore these songs.
Dirty Paws. ❤️
It's so lovely to hear you guys sing all of your early songs with such rawness and sincerity. In a way, they still make me feel exactly the same, your music always sounded like magic to me, even after all these years. I hope you will continue on for a long time.
I couldn't say it better !!!
yep
Driving through the mountains in Colorado just cruising Radio turned up all the way singing to this. Thank you.
I think this version of Little Talks is my absolute favorite of all the different ways I have heard them do it. Phenomenal.
🇧🇷 I saw Of Monsters and Men in São Paulo (Brasil) in 2016. I remember this presentation with great endearment.🇧🇷
🇧🇷 Where did you see them? 🇧🇷 Was it from Brasil (🇧🇷)? 🇧🇷

Your music has helped in the hole of my PTSD misery, Thx.
Much love to you, brother
I got a ticket to see them live in Mexico before the pandemic happened, they couldn't come to the concert but I still keep the ticket, I'll see them live some day! I hope :)
Me pasó lo mismo
I had the thing happen to me, hopefully they will come.
me too I hope OMAM can see these that in Mexico we are wainting for them to the end :''')
We need you here in Mexico OMAM 🇲🇽
I'll see you there when they tour again : )
Omg, I haven't listened to dirty paws in ages. Wonderful memories. Great to see them sounding as awesome as ever
My favorite thing about this band is that every time I discovered a new live version I hadn’t heard it’s a completely unique experience to every other live version I listened to - even tho they’re the same songs they’re able to bring a whole new vibe to them
But still same quality
Haven't _quite_ been with this band since the beginning- a friend turned me onto them in 2014- but they've been a huge influence on my life ever since. I'm truly grateful.
Every single song on this album contains a different emotion and memory for me. Every single song on this album I adore and have listened to repeatedly these last 10 years. I have many artists I love, but not one of these artists has put out an album so perfect as this one in my opinion. Thank you for putting such raw emotion and beauty into your music. I plan on listening to this album for the rest of my life.
I come back here every so often to be utterly, emotionally crushed by these renditions of "Love Love Love" and "Yellow Light". Absolutely beautiful.
Looking forward to new tracks :)
Недавно я ехал в другой город, и всю дорогу на повторе слушал OMAM. Это блин моя самая атмосферная поездка. Никогда её не забуду. Жду новые треки :)
Unbelievable album. So intimate and broken down versions of all of the greats. Amazing!!!
Dirty Paws one of my all-time favorite songs. It has so many meanings. Cheers!
Lots of love for u all ♡
Felicitaciones por esta gran producción y por toda la gran música que ustedes componen e interpretan. Fuertes abrazos desde Lima - Perú.
This band it’s the most precious thing that happen in my life, it’s so pure and unique, I’ve been listening to them since 2014, I have the opportunity to listen to them on live when they came to Lollapalooza Chile 😭 it was magical
I like your music guys! You music brings specific atmosphere to fill to me. Greetings from Western Ukraine.
Amen. Yes there is trash “music” out there. But then there’s beautifully magical music like this too.
I was born in the 1950's; this is the music of my generation if you go directly from Simon and Garfunkel to OMAM.
@@robertcreighton272
Thats a great comparison, Simon and Garfunkel would be proud... also Sound of Silence & Bridge over Troubled Water are my favorites.
As an insomniac, I can't imagine a better album to put on loop every night.
I love the way they transmite peace in every song, every lyric is a masterpiece, i hope they come back to play live specially in México!
Simplesmente perfeito!!! Ouvir vocês é como um refúgio.. BR
this brought back so many old feelings.
"Slow and steady"
You are an example. And we are rediscovering your music every single time.
Thank you, to lead us our way "Moutain sound".
You are our inspiration.

"Love Love Love"
The world should know that there is real music and real musicians out there like these people, making band-aids for the soul ✌🏻
In my life living in Brazil, I never feel so good and comfortable with a music like i feel with you guys, ty for exist.
You've helped so many people going through so much together.
Thank you for all the healing.
Been our soundtrack from Brazil to New Zealand, then Australia, now Netherlands and I’m sure it will be following myself and family with great memories. Thanks for such amazing songs!!
