Signal Mountain Tn is a town on Walden’s Ridge of the Appalachian Plateau. It is about 5 miles north west of downtown Chattanooga. It sits about a thousand feet higher in elevation than downtown Chattanooga. Signal Mountain Road is the main road to Signal Mountain from Red Bank and downtown Chattanooga. Robert Mill Road is a secondary road a few miles north of Signal Mountain Road . Signal Mountain has the second highest per capita income in the Chattanooga metro area after Lookout Mountain Tn.
