      @DavidRochabrun-lq9tn what a great question. I would use a more flexible product because food trucks drive around. Check out this camper roof coating. I think this might help.

    Hi,,, THANKS. I'm just hoping that you'll come back & show us/ give us a 1 or 2 year report.? I'll bet that that coating you used will expand & crack after the first year. Then those cracks will be like building a pond, for the water to sit, freeze & crack open more, creating leaks. I THINK, that you should have used something made of RUBBER. Something that will flow into all of those dents & cracks, & NOT expand & crack open. Only time will tell.
    'Project Farm' has some awesome tests on different types of roof coating materials. VERY GOOD info! You should check them out & do a comparison of the coating that you are using. I'll be back in another year,, to see how your job turns out. THANKS Again.

      @NaturesCadenceFarm  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @J DoBoy I have not had any issues with the roof after the coating was applied. I will make a video of the roof soon. We are right at a year and a half so that would be enough time for deterioration to be seen. Thanks for the tip on Project Farm. Have you had issues in the past with the product I used? If yes, I would love to hear about them so I can look for a better product. Thank you for watching and commenting! ~Mr. C.

  • @thomasschierer9326

    so how many 5 gallons did it take?

    • @NaturesCadenceFarm
      @NaturesCadenceFarm  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @thomasschierer9326 the 40 x 12 foot trailer only needed 5 gallons. The application rate is 50 -100 square feet per gallon at 2 coats and the trailer has approximately 500 square feet of surface area. A 70 x 14 trailer would need 10 gallons or more if you wanted a heavy coat. Great question. Thanks for asking and watching. ~Mr. C.

    I bought a 5 gallon can of koolseal. Would that be enough to do a 14×60 mobile home roof? It's a flat roof.

    • @NaturesCadenceFarm
      @NaturesCadenceFarm  2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @Carol Moon your roof has 840 sq ft. The Koolseal website (link below) says the product will cover 50 to 100 sq ft per gallon. At the thinnest single application you would only get 500 sq ft covered with the original 5 gallon bucket. Looks like another bucket would ensure you can achieve the two recommended coats or a single thick coat. Thanks for watching and asking! ~Mr. C.

    I wonder, does it help deaden the rain noise at all?

    • @NaturesCadenceFarm
      @NaturesCadenceFarm  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Condor1970 in my experience and opinion, no. It works really well protecting your roof from rusting and seals any seams from water intrusion. Excellent question. Thanks for watching! ~Mr. C.

      Imo yes I lived in one for 7yrs that I remodel and flipped then built my first house. Before you could hear the wind making the roof rattle,wrinkle sound and ever hear a bird walking on it lol.. after 2 good coats of cool seal.no.more crackling sounds and less rain noise.

    • @NaturesCadenceFarm

      @Dustin I used one 5 gallon bucket for this 40' roof. I would go with 10 gallons for a 70' roof. I had a little extra for some patch work on our mobile home roof but not much. Thanks for watching! ~Mr. C.

    you don't pour it into a pan just pour it on the roof duh

    • @NaturesCadenceFarm
      @NaturesCadenceFarm  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @just me that is an interesting idea. Do you have experience with this method? Even better, do you have a video using the pour on the roof method? If you don't have a video maybe make one so all of us can learn a new and possibly better technique. I ask because I will be doing another roof soon and would like to know pouring a roof coating on a roof with pitch might be more efficient. Thanks for the kind and constructive comment. ~Mr. C.
