Good to see a new video! I (FINALLY!) took delivery last week. It passed my inspection with flying colors; Fremont did a great job! I tinted the windows and installed the Tesla mud flaps/rear PPF, and ceramic coating is coming up. Since I ordered in September, I got 1yr free premium connectivity. Tesla slacker radio is better than I expected. I'm opting for a high endurance MicroSD for sentry mode for its write durability over time. It picked up some awesome seat back protectors that look super-OEM, center console organizers, and I'm going to install the Tesla all-weather mats. I LOVE this car!
@@djwildheart No, it's a Fremont build with the non-structural 2170 battery pack. The 4680 cars are standard range only, and as of today they're only being sold to Tesla employees and customers with existing reservations that live near the Austin gigafactory. Given the price of the car when I ordered, changing to 4680 would have gotten me less range for more $$. It will be interesting to see how/when Tesla rolls the 4680 into the Model Y Long Range and other models.

@@djwildheartI hope you get your car soon, with no delays! What was your order date? I haven't seen any OTA updates yet. Some folks that don't have WiFI near the car use the Wifi hotspot on their phones for the download. You could probably roll up to a Starbucks, too :-)

One thing i don't see in your accessories and for protection is Mud Flaps, but I am pretty sure most of us know about this kind of protection. I have a link to your video for the various accessories, which most are from Amazon. The one color I would not get and never have bought on any car is WHITE. It is the hardest color to keep clean and shows every little thing during daily driving. Thank you and take care.

I'm super pumped but not too much because if there is some unforeseen delay I will be super bummed. I just need a break from my Tahoe.....that truck is killing me at the gas station but it serves it's purpose but I'll only drive it on the weekends to Costco and Home Depot.

I didn't tint the roof. There are some sunshades out there built for the Model Y but I haven't used them yet. I just crank up the AC and that works for me

Question for the recent/current batch of tesla owners coming from a potential buyer… how far are service centers willing to go to correct panel gap/misalignment issues vs stating that they are “within spec”? The hood at 1:55 for example is visibly misaligned is that something they’d be willing to fix? I’m about 99% ready to pull the trigger on a 22 M3P but my biggest concern is having to deal with quality issues and (hopefully not) uncooperative service centers
I think the reviews aren't good because the people didn't know how to install them lol. It's pretty straightforward, just need a lot of patience haha. I will make a video in the next 1-2 months on how to apply PPF to the front bumper, hood, and front fenders.
It would,be nice to enjoy my new Tesla. Placed my Model Y Long Range back in January 2022 with a delivery date of May-June 2022. My new delivery date is as if placing a new order Feb 2023-may 2023. A Tesla store has called saying they are trying to find me a vehicle because of my complaints and someone dropped the ball somewhere. I’m going to just have to upgrade to a performance to get one this year or cancel and move on.
Help Matt & others! I bought Samsung SSD T7 and it will now connect to my Model 3 2018. It says “error while formatting USB drive for Dashcam” and I unplugged and reconnect it many many times but it will not clear it out and start it up.
Matt, the Tesla delivery process is toxic. They expect you to pay for the car before you take delivery. Upon delivery there's a good chance it will be damaged somehow. I don't know if this is a manufacturing defect or damage in transit? At the delivery center their attitude is too bad, here's the car regardless. Take it to a repair center.
Delivery process is not toxic at all. You have the option of rejecting delivery with no worries. The probability of damages or imperfections is very slim. Tesla has improved build quality along with fit & finish significantly over the past few years.
@@MattDanadel I disagree! You won’t be making a video saying how important is to inspect your brand new car if they have improved their fit and finish! And sadly it’s taking them more than 12 years to do so! I reserved MYP btw but I’m just disappointed to see those imperfections still exist!

Ceramic coatings last for 6-8 month MAX… don’t waste your money this expensive wax, even though it makes your car super shy and very nice looking but it’s temporary. Just get a PPF, that’s all you need
