There is always something at the end of the day that gets me even knowing that my dad passed away last year due to a heart attack and my mom passed away back in October 13th 2013 they've always pushed me to do harder and do better in whatever I do and so therefore I take pride in delivering each load knowing that what's in the back of my trailer is helping someone or someone and many different ways so God bless everybody for doing what they do no matter what their job is

Lord knows that man had a story to tell from the millions and millions of miles he ran and those were old school miles when the world of trucking was a lot more than a job it was a true profession and fun. I can see him now standing there with a toothpick hanging out of his mouth and a grin on his face getting ready to tell a tall tail, God bless him he was one of a kind I miss him.... Bully p.s. great video, great memories, keep on trucking and you're a chip off of the old block, maybe there is two great souls.

@@modacare4546 that's awesome, and he was featured on one! How difficult was it back in the day to find a new shipper and avoid getting lost? I'm sure it happened much more frequently compared today without the invention of the GPS and having to solely rely on the Atlas and CB Radio when in trouble (you didn't even have access to a cell phone to call dispatch or shipper for local directions). To me that is crazy, trucking must have been so difficult back then

fantastic interview. love to see how drivers are proud of their trucks and sometimes with the woman involved. I think American trucks are so beautiful. pure style I personally think the older ones are the best from the 60s, 70s, 80s. I am also a driver in Europe. Belgium here the trucks are also beautiful. But nothing can beat an American truck. have been to north carolina for 3 weeks once. were the most beautiful of my life. the people, the trucks, the car. i really like America. unfortunately I was born in the wrong country.... god bless your all....👏👏👏

Yeah I lost it too, getting tear eyed and all I could feel it. I definitely got a lot from my dad and even though he’s still alive and well I’m gonna miss him for real when he’s gone something about old school pops and they’re whole outlook on life.
