The ones with the straight pipes will eventually give you a headache , sounds great in the beginning but starts to get to you down the road after a while , the longer wheel base will definitely ride much smoother , better on your spine, many things to think about , lol
I would of been looking at an older Freightliner with a Detroit 12.7 all around better on the pocket book and easier to work on and finding parts and longer lasting but nice looking Pete 👍🏻
being able to touch all states makes sense for a small biz, you will not be self limiting yourself. I would make a decision on the horsepower, and rear ends, since you run open deck 336 342 is a good range, 500hp or better. longer wheelbase is always better but you can change that with no effort if its too short... NO ELECTRICAL ISSUES!!! that will drive you crazy especially with an older truck. I prefer W900l, but a Pete is just classic and you can't go wrong. "Drive On Driver" I'll see you out there...Q
Hey Bennii, nothing beats first rush. Its obvious you know what you like. I'd say, now that the first time drive is over and out of your system, try it again. Then you will be sure based on how it feels to you. Consider how long it would also take from this truck to the next new truck and what you would have in between. Live with the dream!!!

@@edwardtye4119 explanation to why it's a "she" is because a boat and now truck is because people are inside the ship/boat or truck. So it's like a mother and you are in the womb. Or no other reason than people just calling it for as a "he".
Love the growth. The KW studio sleeper is my dream truck. Of the 3 the blue one will be in compliance longer bc you know other states always follow cali’s standards.
I’m sure that’s what you want to believe, but history says otherwise. It’s coined the “California effect”, it not only applies to vehicles but also appliances, consumer goods etc. From the clean air act from the 70s til today is a result of California’s restrictions.
I don't drive for a living but i love semi. Even decked out!!!! I love the white Pete. Love ur energy when u drive the Pete. When u into the kw. U just went blah. I would drive what u lobe. Great video!!! Love ur energy!!!
the white rig looks smoother and more comfortable but, the blue one is almost as smooth and almost as comfortable but can service a larger market, as it can go to Cali. I think you should go with the Cali ready truck, that way you can haul anywhere in America.
I like the idea of not having def with the white truck. How much freight do you currently haul into cali? If you can I would factor in how much revenue you are going to lose or potentially miss out on if you chose the white truck. If you don’t feel you can sacrifice that amount go with the blue truck. Both are nice trucks
Salute Bennii! I'd go with the 2013 Cali compliant Pete...unless you value having more cab square footage and aren't that concerned with hauling freight into/out of Cali. Either way, both nice trucks. Congrats!
Question. Why didn't you pop the hood. The engine size and or make , doesn't matter 2 you ? How about reading the ECM for hidden codes. Oil leaks . Steering wheel play . Belts . Blow by ? But they do look hott. And kw has that drop step 2 the bunk lol. In all of them I think. If you want 2 do California.. ya gonna need that dpf/def. Good luck on ur choice making
Mannnn that’s a tough call ! I like the blue bc it’s a bit newer with better fuel savings and I like the color. Everyone seems to have white. But the white one is just as good. 🤔 Toss a coin 😂
1 & 3 drove ans shifted well. 2 had a lot of vibration in the steering when once you got up to speed. But that could be due to alignment, balancing etc. 3, that blue is a nice color.
How I see it bro, you can change out everything you don't like about a truck with a little research, for shifting you can change the shifter and add a short throw. The exterior you can always change up. The gears and engine are what matters most plus comfortability. Everything can be changed, literally everything you don't like. I'd get that kenworth with the one stack and just modify as I moved on. But completely your choice bro

Get the blue one get a oil sample on it to see if there any metal in the oil let it idle for about an hour pull the dipstick and see if you got the blowback and see if it's pushing water if not that's the one to go with
I thought I wanted a long hood Pete with that awesome sound... but for the price you are paying for all that extra noise in the cab - small cab at that, you could do much better. I bought a 2010 387 with a 13 speed, ISX and 3.55 gears. Just installed a Green APU yesterday and after a full in-frame, I'll still have less invested than either of those trucks. And a 387 will likely get better MPG. My cab at the doors is only 4" narrower than the sleeper. Talk about a roomy cab! Can’t wait to show y’all the motors !!
Peterbilt Nice truck. Sounds good with those stacks
tell em to get that blue one ready and you want a fresh coat of wax on it at delivery. 2013 blue one makes more sense more options on loads (Cali etc) Plus you went thru those gears like you were at the race track and it didn't give you any fuss about it.
Im a nascar driver 😂😂you didn’t know but man next video I think we might get closer to a decision
The white Peterbilt is the way to go
Congratulations..So proud ..now are you going to buy a longer Sleeper sink etc..shower etc ..Enjoy
Blue one is definitely nicer I like the outer look of the truck more myself but
I am glad you like it and the sounds of it
