You are doing fantastically well, I could barely leave the house for six months after having my second- let alone have time to get in front of a camera to make helpful videos!! Probably the toughest few months of my life. I hope you’re being kind to yourselves and reminding one another daily! -Best wishes from a fellow Doctor/Mum of 2
This is an incredible instructional video. I had such a hard time with my Solly wrap and trying to figure out exactly how to tie, and cross. This video has me so excited for baby #2 to arrive, so I can conquer the wrap! Thank you for this video! ❤️
Thank you for a very informative demonstration! I'm a nanny & will have a 12-week-old along with 2 older brothers starting tomorrow. Baby-wearing will be essential!
Thank you SO much for explaining this! I’ve been struggling to figure out my wrap and have watched several videos but yours made it so easy and now I love it!
I could have used this 3 weeks ago when I was trying to get my newborn in there! Thankfully I had a friend who helped me. Also, the Koala carrier has been lifechanging. I love the Moby but having the cross already done when your 5 week old is screaming is amazing.
This is a great video! I was so overwhelmed and afraid of hurting my newborn with the wrap. He HATED being wrapped, he always fought unless he was really sleepy. It made me think I was hurting him. I'm expecting #2 and feeling so much more confident this time around. I'm gonna wear that baby all the dang time.
Thank you! I’d love if you could talk a little more about baby wearing, like safety tips, pros and cons, etc. Thank you for helping all of us while having two little of your own! ❤
Appreciate you making this video! I've used some of the wraps for baby #1 before but still keep forgetting how... Would you also do a video about some of the things you need to buy vs which items can be reused for baby #2? Thank you!
We ditched the wraps pretty quickly for a K’tan wrap and a soft carrier. I now see the thing we were missing was the pre-tightening. 😅 That said, it worked out for the best; baby’s clubfoot correction process makes baby wearing a chore anyway, and reducing effort in other ways helped a lot.
Could you guys make a video on recommendation for baby travel ✈️how soon after birth for domestic/international, possible complications and maybe some tips to consider.
This is so great! Do you have any advice for how to keep the baby from overheating while wearing them? Our 2 week old always gets so sweaty and hot after like half an hour😢
How to support an infants neck in this kind of carrier? I'm having a bit of truble finding a way to keep my babies head from faling back in this position.
Great tutorial! I have a solly wrap and loved it, especially in the first 2 months. I have never had a woven wrap. How different is it? Do you wrap the same way or does it have different ways to wrap?
Look at Bo, he is so cute! 😍 Thanks for this awesome tutorial, just what I needed - trying to practice with a teddy at 39w :D Just be sure: so for a newborn I would do exactly the same, but not let his legs dangle, but keep them in the middle support piece, right? (But still in the M shape) Thank you for all the lovely content ❤
I'm concerned about spreading their legs apart that wide may hurt their hips developmentally. Am I just being crazy? Any feedback or information to offer?
Baby’s hips have different needs than adult hips, she was talking about the M shape, with the knees being higher because that’s important for babies developmentally. I don’t know all the ins and outs to explain efficiently but there’ll be plenty of information online 👍
@@Zoe-hk5kq apparently footie pjs can cause circulation to cut off in the feet due to the pulling of fabric at the crotch (when they're sitting in the wrap). Just being mindful of how their feet are positioned and it shouldn't be a problem.
My baby was small too and I carried him in the solly wrap. Just make sure it’s tight to give support to baby and also high (in that “kissable” range). He loved it and would always fall asleep in the wrap.
I know it's a bit of a "taboo topic", but could you and your husband please do a video on THC/marijuana and breastfeeding/pregnancy? I know a lot of women who were using it medically before/after baby to help them with long term issues and none of them ever feel comfortable talking about it at appointments due to the stigma surrounding it! It would be incredible to hear about the topic from a medical viewpoint of harmful effects, breastmilk contamination, etc without the fear of being reported or judged for asking questions of your provider
Emily Oster touches on this in the updated version of her book Expecting Better. Unfortunately the data is still really limited and the studies on it aren’t very good yet. There is some evidence that it may be associated with higher rates of preterm birth, but it’s not conclusive.
nice video but i really think you should try to condense any kind of instructional content to its minimal form factor. this would have been even better for me if it was 3-4 minutes
I’ve tried a lot with my now 4 month old, but it never got nice, not sure if it’s because I am bigger, the fabric never stays right. I watched maaaany tutorials 🥲 maybe I’ll try again, but so far no luck

Thank you! Way better than the video/instructions Moby puts out! Still having trouble keeping his knees bent sometimes, but working on it.

Can’t thank you enough!!! I’ve been searching forever for a video like this! Life saver 😍😍
Thank you so much for teaching us how to use the wrap!❤

For extra head support you can roll a burp cloth up and roll it into the back support portion of the wrap.

Is Koala a brand? I have the Moby but haven't used it yet

Love this! Can you do a tutorial on the ring/woven wrap next?!
Wow this was really helpful, I feel like I can do this now when the time comes. Kind of took the intimidation factor away for me. Thank you!

Thankkkkkss!! My son is bigger now and I did not know how to put him in still
Thank you! I want to wear my baby like this when it's born but I was a little hesitant. This tutorial really helps

Thank you for this video. I want one of these it looks comfortable for both baby and mom.
Aww your little one is geting so big he's so cuite
I was looking for a product exactly like this one. 🤦♀️ there’s always a next time. This looks so much better than the products I bought.

Thank you so much for this! Very helpful❤
Using a stretchy wrap with your baby is a wonderful way to keep them close and comfortable while having your hands free. 💜💜
Super helpful!!
Have you done a top 10 or 20 essentials items to have ready for bringing your newborn home?
At what age/weight/height would you leave the legs out? I have a 2 month old but he’s pretty tall.
Great tutorial! I have a solly wrap and loved it, especially in the first 2 months. I have never had a woven wrap. How different is it? Do you wrap the same way or does it have different ways to wrap?
By what age of baby can we start putting the babay in the wrap?
I love your little family❤
I'll definitely be revisiting this video in 3 weeks lol
Anyone who’s got the Moby-is there a way to remove the obnoxious giant tag on the end?
How old can baby be to start using it? Example: 1 month old, two weeks old? Thank you for advice. 💕
It goes by weight not age, and the different wraps have different weight requirements
@@bleechrcreechrr thank you 🙏🏻

Is it OK if their head is rocking back kinda like his was?

Wow looks just like his dad!!!!!
Can a c+sec mom use that?
Amazing video! The only thing I would say is that it is recommended to not put your baby in a wrap while wearing sleepers or footie PJs.
Can you explain why? Thanks!

@@shelbeh And if you're able size up in the footie pj before putting them in a wrap!
so helpful!

My baby 9 days old 5lb and 17 inches is it safe to carry her or do i have to wait till certain weight /age?
