  • ⭐Hey Yoga Lovers
    👉 Welcome to Megan MacCarthy
"Discover the secrets to an effective and easeful self-healing journey for your lower back and psoas muscles! 🌟
In this video, we dive deep into gentle yet powerful techniques that will help alleviate lower back pain and release tension in your psoas muscles. Our expert guide will walk you through step-by-step exercises and stretches that are easy to follow, making your healing process a breeze.
Say goodbye to discomfort and hello to a stronger, more flexible lower back and a revitalized psoas. Whether you're dealing with chronic pain or simply looking to improve your well-being, this video is your gateway to a healthier you.
👉Join us on this healing journey and start experiencing the benefits today. Don't forget to like, subscribe, and share with anyone who could benefit from this transformative self-healing practice. Your well-being is just a click away. 🌿💪
This is an update on my most popular TH-cam video “Somatic Low Back and Psoas Release”. After 3 years, the movements have proven beneficial to many students including myself. The movements are still my quick and easy 'go to' to relieve my grumpy psoas, and this video includes some beneficial additions. Now more than ever, I believe we are our greatest healers when it comes to psoas (among many other things). No manual manipulation or palpation of the psoas or other “quick fixes” of this tender, intuitive muscle can give you long term relief or bring you back to balance the way your own breath centered felt movements can. Maybe you find this video after exhausting all other typical fixes, but I hope you found comfort in it before that.

I shared this class with my small group of Somatic deep divers and combined it with some of your MR ball 'psoas whispering' play. Everyone reported some radical softening of their backs, legs able to release more and even shoulder blades. But the most pleasing result was one student who has suffered many years from almost unbearable discomfort and tightness in her mid thoracic spine/bra-line area. Nothing else has worked to release this in the few months I've been working with her but tonight she reported a softening, a change. I think we may have a path forward! Thank you for opening doorways Megan 😊

A wonderful practice for my whole (less and less wounded) left side! Finding that it's the quadratus lumborum most benefitting, particularly from the side bend/curl, though these last vestiges of injury all seem to realign through it. Thank you! Well, what a happy camper I am for having found you , Megan. This was a lovely routine. I've been doing Somatics for several years , on and off. It's always better when it's "on". Your technique and comments and visualizations are a little different and I love that. Learning a new way to look at Somatics and my body. I'm on the west coast of Canada but I'm happy to join your community. Thank you so much for sharing. And I'll share you too !
