i used this harness, however my vehicle is a push to start so the radio does not seem to turn off. any ideas?
What is your order number?

I think all 2016+ have a USB. is your older?
@@Enfig right, mine is a 2015. I had to pass a usb extenson from behind
Mine is 14 and I did the same so I ordered a complement which it goes next to the Traction Control button and it charges but very slowl and my phone gets hot so I better remove it

What to do if I dont have a canbus
You can find Ignition, Illumination, Vehicle Speed Sense, Reverse and Parking brake in the car but the interface makes it much easier. Especially if you have steering wheel controls because our adapter for the 2016+ VW has the electronics built in for for a just a little more money you can activate them.
Do you guys offer a wire management class?
We do not offer any classes. That is more for amplifier and speaker installations.
i want to do this exact installation on the same car, 2017 ve jetta, can u help me out with what i need
i don't know what model that is and how to use the site
This is a discontinued model. But you can purchase a newer model. We are adding radio packages to our site soon. How much are you looking to spend on the whole thing?
Enfig not sure, what are some options ? Got a number
@@hammy8167 You can check out the site for our contact info. I don't post it on here just in case it changes.
Will that roadie work in a 2011 Jetta sportwagen
Not sure what a roadie is but the main harness is a little different. Check the website for exact parts.
Do you need to add/upgrade amp for this in 2017 Jetta?
That's an opinion. I think everything needs an upgrade. My father drove around with 1 speaker in his car for years.
Enfig nvm. You toook super long to respond.
Sorry. We get so many emails and TH-cam comments that it is impossible to keep up.
Will a 7inch screen fit in the double din brackets u sell?
Yes almost all 7" radios fit.
@@Enfig do i need the metal cage too or will it work without
@@xxitsgravvy8123 Yes you will need the mounting kit and of ours all come with the metal brackets.
Let me guess, you get calls all the time of people telling ya hey everything worked great but the back up camera didn’t work?
Anthony DiDonato Not a single one. What's going on?
does any radio information come on display near the speedo ?
No that feature is not available.
Will it work on my 2016 Volkswagen Passat S?
Its pretty much the same parts. Check the site for specifics.
What exact pioneer radio did you use?
The radio in this video is discontinued. But there are many new radio models available.
That stereo looks like a downgrade compared to 2017-2018 stock stereos. Nice tutorial though ✅
Only if you think a better radio with wireless carplay and better sound is a downgrade. And lets not forget how often the original radios self destruct
What is the brand of the one he's removing?
It is the factory one that came with the car. I do not know the manufacturer.
Can I install this stereo in polo mk6
Send us an email. We do not have the polo in the States but it uses many of the same parts as US cars.
Nice watch.
Thanks I appreciate that!
Will this work on a 2012 tdi jetta
The wiring harness is different but the install is pretty much the same.
will this work on a 2014 Jetta? Thanks
Almost the same install slightly different parts.
Whats the model ok the pioner CarPlay ?
This radio is not discontinued.
can this be used with a 2014 jetta?
Same install but the main harness is different.
Can I ay u to please tell me what wires go to what
My daughter got me a radio before she passed and I’m just trying to get it connected. I know the logistics of it but I’m having a hard time putting the wires to the right wires. I would gladly pay you if you could walk me through it.
I need to know what radio is being installed to reccoment accurate parts.
That car needs a box with emectronics to be installed. Unless you want to run wires all over the car.
I just ordered my frame , I didn’t get a email confirmation but I hope I get it :(
I'm sorry for the late reply. I got backed up with the holidays. As soon as you place and order we send a confirmation. If you dont its usually 1 of 3 things. It ended up in spm. The order did not go though. Or you typed your email wrong. Send us an email or call us if you still have not received it.
My screen goes black and then it turn on from time to time. What can I do
Check for a loose fuse. Besides that it sounds like a bad radio.
Model of the Pioneer
This is an old discontinued model. Most pioneer radios install teh same.
Who this work on my Volkswagen Jetta TDI
As long as it's the same years yes.
for jetta 2015 works?
2015 is the same install but the main wiring harness is different and the park to keep the reverse camera is different. You can check the web site for a exact list.
@@Enfig Thank you very much, I will review. Greetings!.
@@Enfig I did not find in the list the kit of the radio that I want to install, which would be the pioneer avh-315bt. The last of that series that I see is the avh-295bt. Can that same kit work?
@ It should be the same parts. We do not sell that radio in the united states. If you want to email me pictures of the radio harness I can confirm and add it to the site for you.
@@Enfig Excellent, what would be the email?
With this fit 2017 1.4 se
The engine should not matter.
Where do you get the harness? For a 2017 jetta

7:05 radio off with key out
Is that a question?
@@Enfig just a bookmark
Doesn’t this void all VW warranties? Lol
Since the radio is powered off its own power supply and no other wires are cut the only warranty you can really void is the speakers.
Does anyone know the max screen size that can be used
Most standard radios are 7". Alpine has a floating screen radio. www.alpine-usa.com/product/alpine-halo9-apple-carplay-android-auto--ilx-f259
If you would have talked chinese, I would not have understood less 🤓
Well it's a good thing I didn't speak in chinese then lol
will the aux cable in the center console still interface with the new radio ... i use it to play stored music on a flash drive
We have a part that allows you to reuse the factory USB location. KFU-VW1
Will this cause battery drain on a 2007 Jetta TDI MY07?
No ours adapters read the factory can bus and turn the radio on and off.
Will this work on my 2016 Jetta T5i ? I want to replace the factory radio, with one that has rear camera capabilities.
All the 2016-2018 Jetta have the same connections behind the radio. If you have Fender or Dynaudio then there is a different harness that must be used.
Is it possible to remove the stock radio add a aftermarket one and add a backup camera as well?
Yes. This is a link to our factory style backup camera for this car. It's actually better quality than the factory one. enfigcarstereo.com/ENFIG_BUC_VW11.html
Will this work for my vw passat 2016?
Yes it uses most of the same parts.
