Man, cant wait for this weekends video!

had the same thing happen once with a very close to lean condition high speed needle(makin power) and very VERY heavy on the throttle lot of wide open pulls back to back to back, overheated the piston, expanded inside the motor and started scoring. Just like your situation, the motor 'died' i thought it was out of gas too, but when i looked at the tank, there was gas.
When i took it apart it looked similar to your piston the head was basically toast.

I think it's a exhaust leak my self keeping the piston cold in that spot but that is if that happen on that side

Definitely dirt bro. I had a 34cc full mod for about 3 year no problem great engine. Great video bro 💪🏽💪🏽

I didn’t look too close, but the scoring was it on the intake side or the exhaust side? What might of happened is not letting the engine warm up enough before use and getting on the throttle while the engines fairly cold. The piston could expand faster than the cylinder and size the engine if not it could cause access friction.

Be different rebuild and mod it, everybody and there moma getting the 35 get the 35 later then powder coat or chrome the 35 something different

Bummer brother. You did get a good run out of it though! We all know that you run your shit like you should! We all also know that you'll have her back up in no time!
For what its worth, I always feel like you run your 1/5s on a little bit of the leaner side of a tune. Just my opinion... not looking for a "comments section argument" from other subscribers.
You're gonna have to be pretty quick to beat me getting a 35 into a 5ive brother😂😂😂

Yeah I do always run a little leaner I'm not worried about it man I'll be unveiling a new engine in 2 days stay tuned

@@woogienitro oh hell yeah! Can’t wait!
Is the scoring on the intake side of the piston? Thinking dirt because it’s focused on one part of the piston.

Exhaust port side but remember I had that issue so I'm thinking maybe it wasn't sealing all the way or something

      @@woogienitro ahh! I don’t think I’d call it a dirt issue then

I would definitely rebuild it. Even if you go new Taylor RC

The piston looks just like a nitro engine when it sucks in some dirt. That’s what I’d have to assume happened

  • @NitroMike
    @NitroMike 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Make sure your airfilter is still fully sealed. It looks like it sucked in a ton of dirt. And if that's not the case then it must have been an oil issue. Did you shake the fuel before fueling the car? The oil in two stroke gas has the tendency to sink to the bottom over time. Also you could have ran it too lean / redlined the engine. If you push too many rpms for too long you also lose lubrication because the oil can no longer reach all the area's it needs to reach in time

The way that scoring looks . Could be a cold expansion issue. In other words getting on the RPM to quickly. The piston will heat up quicker than the cylinder causing it to expand piston to much to quickly and score the coating on the cylinder.

Is the exhaust port , and bolt pattern the same as a chainsaw ? I want to put one of those pipes on my 42cc polain. Please let me know buddy.

Your low needle is way too lean that’s why 🤦🏻‍♂️
