Honestly for your 32 or 33 you should order a Reimax ( REINIK ) crate motor or order all the parts as last time I checked they still sell all of the RB-X GT2 components and more. I know you love HKS but you just never see Reink stuff anywhere, would be insane.

Thomas I’m astonished at how far you’ve come, started watching at the s12 giveaway, your Ti build inspired me so much I bought a 95ti as my first car. It’s now s52 and fully rebuilt. I tried my best to keep it as stock and period correct as possible. Love your style and your quality. Never stop doing what you do!

This car before being owned by Top Rank was owned by a guy in Calgary AB. I got to see the car in person once at a cars and coffee, had 29k on it at the time.

I’m pretty sure they make lift kits that go on coilovers for that same reason. It’s a bag that goes on a coilover.

Bags on that car make sense, specially if you are trying to protect the aero which is dumb expensive.

IF you are going R34 underneath why not go with a cup kit on coil overs and get rid of the bags. I sure wouldn’t roll race with bags and a 800whp monster. Do not know if it’s unsafe I just have not seen anyone doing it.

Owner may want to look into air cup suspension! He’d be able to throw quality coilovers on, and still have the ability to raise the front or rear to avoid scraping in a similar manner as a Porsches front end rises!
The taillight covers come on the Autech 33 4 door gtr
KW sells coilovers with a hydraulic lift cup, maybe a good alternative to the bags?

ngl, been an outside fan via LZ and TJ, love the energy, the knowledge, attention to detail and the experience watching. I respect the nostalgia and keeping the cars OEM+, huge fan. Can’t wait to see how this build evolves. 🤙🏼
I'm sorry. But this car should be a garage unmolested queen full stop. You don't buy a 400r to enjoy it. Just my opinion. Buy another 33 and build/trash that one if you want a 700hp 33.
one option is to get those air lift pucks that go on coilovers for the 1inch or so to raise it for inclines. its a happy medium to this, or get a replaceable undertray in the front so it scuffs that instead of the lip

Having a true N1 come in the shop or maybe the 1 of the 2 colored Z tunes is about all that can trump this. For me, maybe a mines R34 thanks to gran turismo as well.

I feel the same about the original engine, in the plan for big power makes more sense to put a fresh engine.

6:30 I'm not sure which came first (and why they're nismo branded), but they look identical to the overlays that came on the 33 GTR based Tommykaira R - barring the nismo lettering.

Did nismo do anything with the s13 Silvia’s? specifically the coupes. It is my personal favorite car but never thought about if nismo was involved in that chassis.

I don't love the idea of the HKS motor in that car. Reinik built many of the old Nissan factory engines that were used in GT cars in the 80s and 90s. They are legendary, but Americans don't know anything about them. It would have at least been cool to rebuild a Reinik motor (can still get them), with RBX covers, and the old HKS V-Cam that didn't have the HKS logo on it. Sorry, just not a fan of HKS in a 400R...

Instead of bags theres like hydraulic lift coilover systems which would be more sporty when driving.
Surely a lift kit in combination with coilovers would work better? Stanceparts make a plug and play kit so you don’t have to bag your car and ruin the ride
