    Now that you've seen all three, which exhaust do you think I should keep on the bike? Comment down below..

    Sure loud exhausts will cause hearing loss but the wind is the real culprit no matter how quiet you think a helmet is and it's a cumulative effect no matter how short your rides are. Anything above 85dB for more than 15sec causes damage that is permanent.

      This sounds like a health and safety course.. haha.. what next a yellow vest? But I get you my dude..
      PS: I got a sound meter on my phone... whistling produces over 80db.. 🤷

    I bought the spark based off this video. I run without the DB killer and love it. The popping is addictive and the pipe looks/sounds awesome 🤯

    Wind noise can cause damage to hearing over time. I never used earplugs however now I don't ride without them especially on long rides.

    • @PetroHead
      @PetroHead  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on your helmet, speed and duration of your ride. I ride with Shoei RF1200.. Its super quiet. If I will ride long distance highway, I will plug my ears. Otherwise, short 30-60m rides with traffic lights and B roads.. Unnecessary for me as my helmet provides a good buffer.

      I always wear earplugs, even for a 10min ride. My ears ring from windnoise even when my plug isnt sitting properly (and yes i got a new shoei helmet)

      I must echo this. And it can creep up on you, quiet helmet or no.

      @luca99149 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PetroHead actually even with the quietest helmets you reach levels of 100/105 dB in normal conditions, and the faster you ride the higher the amount of dB. It means that hearing loss occur within 5/15 mins

      I upgraded to RF1400 about 8 months ago. More quiet than RF1200 but I ride pretty loud bikes and I’m fine. Do whatever makes you feel better.

    im trying to decide on another bike (sold my last bike in 2015) and this thing is really pulling me towards it! and the looks of the headlight is growing on me lol. is this bike flashed or dyno tuned?

    • @PetroHead
      @PetroHead  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No tune. It has a Moto2 engine and with a proper exhaust, it sounds just like one... Nuff said.

    Got the SC project on mine. kept the baffle in because the local track has a decibel limit. Loving it!

  • @jeremyprovonsil7886
    @jeremyprovonsil7886 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    You’re snoozing hard on the Remus Hexacone. Best sounding, least raspy, very deep bass note, makes the 765 sound like an exotic car.

    • @jeremyprovonsil7886
      @jeremyprovonsil7886 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      And you don’t feel “a bit of a difference” on a motorcycle. Or a car. Ever. Period. You can not differentiate 4 Hp from pure placebo. These pipes are purely sound-based, whatever floats your boat type modifications. It’s fun to get the sound you want, but anyone out there who’s saying they can feel 2.5hp gain OR loss from a pipe (which you often LOSE power from them) is full of shit. Regardless, it’s nice to get a thoroughly done idle/accel/decel review of any slip-on as it’s typically very hard to decipher via video clips. Thanks for the time you put into the clips. 👍🏽

  • @chicblair

    Just catching your channel , and giving you a 👍 . I did want to ask if you have done a Reset on the throttle bodies after your exhaust fit? eg you left the bike on idle till the fan came on , then timed it for 15 minutes AFTER the fan is activated ? This *DOES* make a difference with the running of the bike!!

    • @PetroHead
      @PetroHead  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn't do that.

    • @chicblair
      @chicblair 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@PetroHead yeh the Triumph has got a "Self learning system" leave the bike running for approx 15 minutes AFTER the engine fan has came on , the ECU will recalculate the TPS. Skynet is not far away ....

    • @PetroHead
      @PetroHead  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@chicblair interesting, I didn’t know that. Is it too late to still do it? And I just installed an air filter.. Where can I learn more about this?

    • @chicblair
      @chicblair 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PetroHead it will definitely affect the way the bike runs, the ECU will return to default which is not compatible with the different end can you have fitted. Air filter + end can = totally different fuelling. The system learns itself if you start up and just wait. All Triumph ECU's are locked out and have not been cracked. But 🤭 i know a guy, who *KNOWS* a guy . Also it's been tried and tested on my own bike 👍

    • @PetroHead
      @PetroHead  3 ปีที่แล้ว
