The longer I watch George, the longer I see what a generous, kind, and easy going person. He’s not arrogant, despite all of his knowledge, or contrary in any way. He just rolled with the other lady’s show combining with his. PS GRACIOUS is the word that describes George. He listens & always has something nice to say.
I've noticed that very kind and good people love to share their knowledge. George has so much knowledge and he loves to share it. I really appreciate him.
I’ve recently discovered George & have been binge watching his shows. I love how he doesn’t rush through. I like the concise way he explains things & moves along without going on & on about anything. It’s the perfect speed of not rushing & not going too slowly. I used to thrift shop, estate & garage sale shop for my own personal items. Sadly, I just don’t have the energy anymore. Watching his videos provides that opportunity for me once again. This way is even better b-c of his wealth of knowledge.
George, you are just the best. I so appreciate you and the (camera man) lol. You are patient, kind and a clear communicator. Obviously you have a brilliant mind but we all ready new that❤❤. Your advice, information, and willingness to share is a priceless gem that I will continue to indulge in. Thank you
Oh thank you, and I am glad you mentioned Xeno's camera work, he made it possible for me to be more spontaneous! I am so glad to share and I will continue to help you indulge
That's correct George I watch Tiffany all the time and she's meticulously looking up and down and she always goes back and double checks on everything I love her stuff
She’s very thorough and really good at picking! I’m excited to show my version of our shopping yesterday, video to come in a few weeks in my main channel
What a great man to do this for and with Danni! She works so hard for her family and friends, we love her! Thank you George for this wonderful opportunity and video! You the man!
Hi George, I watched the 1st part of this on The Niche Lady, and then subscribed to your live, and finished watching it. This industry has sparked SO MUCH JOY in me! I actually need to incorporate listing my items with all of the learning from all of you resellers, and purchasing inventory, and other equipment and the like. I know that I'm ready, now I just have to do it...thanks for all that you do. You don't know how I envy your status, but I know that every journey starts with the 1st step.
I sure loved this video. It was great to see Danni’s store and all the booths. I liked that the owners of the booths were there to talk with you about their items. Through Danni’s videos, I have “met” all these people. Great job George and Xeno.
The large macrame in Tiffany’s booth was probably for a hanging table. I made those in the 70’s. You would put a large round piece of wood or glass in it. I sold many, many of them. Such wonderful memories. ❤
I was so happy that you got to go to Vegas to the good stuff thrift store and visit all the TH-camrs. I watch all of them on TH-cam And of course I watch you. I watched you before I ever found them and I have learned so much from you and I’m still learning so much from you and all my resellers on TH-cam. I think all of you for all of your knowledge that you share. ❤️🤗❤️
Hi George! You are so gracious! You navigated and held two channels going at the same time. You never cease to amaze me with the way you share so much with the community, other resellers and U tubers. Your kindness shines through for all to see! I wish the Niche Lady and all of her vendors the very best!
Thank you! I recently found your channel through Laura Caldwell. This video is perfect just like I’m walking through a thrift store and learning about the different things I would see. ❤️
Your the best, George,, always enjoy to hear an educated man ,, have learned so much and I started my journey at 18 and I'm 77 now, I don't sell anymore but still like to buy or watch you tube.. thank you for teaching us all. Just goes. To show you, were never to OLD to learn.
Love your knowledge of everything an your compassion that you share with everyone an we love watching all your videos to possibly educate ourselves on the stuff we don't know
I didn’t mention that I did learn to do a little macrame in the 70’s and that led to my love of crocheting. I have crocheted for about 40 yrs. your enthusiasm for your job reminds me of how it is when I meet another crocheter. We get so excited talking about our craft. With you and the other sellers, I can feel the absolute love y’all have sharing knowledge and tips of your trade. Does my heart good.
You guys are the best! i love all of you, thanks for sharing all of your videos, I have learned so much. They even inspired me to become a vintage reseller too! I'm 52 years old from Clearwater FL!
When I was younger in the 1970s, I had a large macramé similar to this one you showed. You mentioned you would have to have a large plant to go into it but really (for mine) it had a large round circle and became more like a shelve for plants and other items. Fun video as always. You are very generous with your time and knowledge for Danni..
The large macrame in the shop with Tiffany can also be used to create a side table. A round safe piece of glass or piece of plexiglas. Make sure the plexiglas is opaque. A clear one would be susceptible to scratching. I would like to say for Tiffany and Danni I truly am very proud to have watched the hard, hard work they went through to be ready to open. God bless all and their families and friends. Sherry from Alabama
It’s almost 2am in N Indiana. I’m finish this fun video tomorrow. George, what an amazing man you are coming to Danni’s new shop and sharing so much with her. Danni-the new superwoman; moving to a new house, your on line business and now a brick and mortar shop. You go girl. I hope you all have a merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year.
It was a lot of filming! With such a long video it was inevitable there would be distractions but I really enjoyed seeing everyone there and bringing it to you
I got interrupted earlier when my power went out from the bad weather here in NE Ohio. I sub and follow all of you it was like a family reunion for me earlier. So good to see so many of my best TH-camrs together in person❤️❤️
George, your the best! I visit stores in New England, with my husband, husband say's how about this and that item, I said George say's, who is George? Is he a friend? Don 't get upset, I said, then told him George, is the best in knowing what's what 😊, and I value his knowledge!❤
What a pleasant surprise! So many of my fav youtube resellers all in one place. If i lived near Vegas, which i've visited twice (my grandparents used to live there in the 80s), i'd volunteer just to get at all the goodies 😉. Thanks, George, for imparting your knowledge & validating their pricing. I thought you & Xeno were hibernating a little more south in sunny Mexico til after the holidays. Gotta admit, i'm envious watching y'all enjoying warmish weather (typing this as i'm freezing my doopa off in -2° & 2 inches of snow) 🥶, oh, & did i mention the frozen pipes 🙄. At least we have electricity! Be care as you travel this direction. It's slicker than snot, as we say in the south 🤣
Hello there! Merry Christmas. I am certainly thankful not to be in the frigid north, it's cold for here but well over freezing so we'll take it. I am no gambler, buying things for resale is my "game of chance" but it was fun to play it here! We had to leave Mexico before Christmas because the air bnb owner had relatives coming in to town and we saw the frightful weather elsewhere and thought this would be a welcome diversion. I am always glad to share knowledge, it gives us the power to enjoy our collections and each others' more and more! Stay well and I hope the pipes thaw slowly, that is never a great thing...as a kid, our house suffered badly in the 1981 ice storm in Washington and it was weeks before we had plumbing fixes and usable.
This was the most informative video for a reseller I have ever seen! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and it was just so positive for the future. Good travels to you and I look forward to your channel.
I'm so happy to hear that and please do subscribe at The Antique Nomad (my main channel) as well for my regular content! I try to share what I see and what I know so both resellers and collectors can have more fun together
Congratulations Danni! Your store is beautiful! Well done. So nice to see George there too. I watched his video of his stroll thru old Vegas last night.
George, I met you in Springfield Ohio and it was an honor! I learn so much from your videos. I recently purchased your Treasure Craft book and plan on settling down with it after the holidays
Awesome! Thank you! I really enjoyed meeting you there and I'm so glad you got the book, if you ordered in the last week or two I will get it out as soon as I get back home
Hi George a month later I have rewatched the whole visit over again on all 3 channels. Yours,Danni's and the Wonderful Tiffany's. I am a sponge trying to soak up a bit of all the knowledge y'all share so graciously. Thank you for your Warm Smile💝 You and your amazing partner Zeno (I don't want to misspell his name if I did I'm sorry)😘
Just watched your store video and I just don't understand how in the world this venture of yours didn't succeed 😢. This is awesome. May God restore you like he did Job. God bless you 😊.
Thank you, George, for sharing this. In Langhorne, PA there is a Good Stuff. They are dependent on donations. Some of the proceeds are donated to a Children's Hospital, after they pay for operating expenses.
Well, I'm thrilled. I had just planted a succulent in what turns out to be a cornucopia, not marked but maybe Hall's. It looks terrific in my garden. Hope that use is not sacrilege, but my garden is my love. What a miracle the vase reached here in Baja California Sur. I found it at one of the traveling vendors up by the highway. No chips! Love your work, George, and am learning a lot.
No, I feel that use is the only thing perpetuating interest in a lot of these wares! They were made for it. There are some precautions you can take to be sure the old things don't get spoiled, but they were meant to be enjoyed and functional! Cornucopias in particular are meant for arrangements, neat that you found it in BCS! I'm so glad you are enjoying my work and glad to know there are collectors outside the US--I got to be one of those for a few weeks during my Mexican trip
The Franciscan pattern of the platter and casserole is not called the Picnic pattern, rather it is called Floral. The Picnic pattern is yellow and green flowers.
I had my mother's blender which had those same buttons. It was from Sears and ran like a champ until one day or just went kaput. I think it shorted out. It even had the original glass container and the "cup" on the lid ( I used it for a shot glass🤣) was glass also.
Hi Danni m George!!! Love this video. My mother had those eyeball lights in the 60 s. Everyone else had the color wheel. We were much more stylish. She had aqua blue bulbs shining on the big full silver tree!
I have a gallery wall in my hallway at the top of the stairs. It has vintage souvenir plates, handkerchiefs, cutting board, and souvenir tins. Makes a neat display.
I sure enjoy showing other TH-camrs who do this, everyone has their own take on things and it's fun to get together and share! I'm glad I can share with you too. I'll have a video out in January showing Danni, Tiffany and I shopping an antique mall in Vegas as well
Hi from Massachusetts!!! LOVE your videos😀😃 I have a collection of Stengle pottery mostly vases. I really like it w hen ylou show jewelery. I collect brooches, a big collection of Christmas trees, figurals, rhinestone brooches, lady face broohes and many more!!!!!!Have a Great Day 😀😃😄
Hi there! I like all that a lot, Stangl made a lot of great things and I do like my costume jewelry. Hope to get up to Boston again, haven't been in ages
Thank you for the love! I'm glad you enjoy them. It was hard with so many people coming and going over such a long live stream not to get pulled in different directions, but we sure were thorough and I'm glad everyone got to see everything
The large macrame plant holder would possibly held either a glass or wooden round disk and then a plant would have sat on that. I have even seen them used as side tables. Sometimes the round wooden top for a fruit crate or anything that might have been repurposed. I had one in my bedroom that I used for a bedside table with a small lamp, that my cousin made. That was probably in the late 70’s or early 80’s when he gave it to me.
I just love seeing you all together! I love Tiffany and Danni too. Great resellers and even greater people❤ Safe travels George and Xeno. Merry Christmas!!
I have 3 flamingo trays like that from Fla from my Mom & Dad's honeymoon in 1957. They fit inside each other. They are not black though, sort of bamboo-ish in color. I love them.
There's a glass grinder in the St. Petersburg, FL Goodwill that makes sickening crushing noises all day long. At least they try to sell the cullet as recycled glass
Crina Iancau is a Romanian artist, not a Russian one. She doesn t even have a Russian name...Jeez!
I am sorry to not be more knowledgable about her, now I'll have to look into it
I'm sorry not to have known better, now I'll have to look into her work!

What a great man to do this for and with Danni! She works so hard for her family and friends, we love her! Thank you George for this wonderful opportunity and video! You the man!
Our pleasure! I'm very impressed with what she's building there.
About the bronzed baby booty's. My mother had my baby shoes bronzed & I was born in 1959. Love your show.

I sure enjoy showing other TH-camrs who do this, everyone has their own take on things and it's fun to get together and share! I'm glad I can share with you too. I'll have a video out in January showing Danni, Tiffany and I shopping an antique mall in Vegas as well
Excellent video! So informative, which is what I tune in for.
I’m glad! I want to share knowledge with collectors so we all appreciate these neat old things and each other more

Hi there! I like all that a lot, Stangl made a lot of great things and I do like my costume jewelry. Hope to get up to Boston again, haven't been in ages
We are so blessed with technology.
This is a good example of its blessings, we never would have met or known each other to do such fun things if this didn't exist!
Yea...George came to town!!!!!!!
I’m so excited to be here!
Enjoyed the show! Thank you! Be safe and warm! God bless!♥️🙏✌️⭕️❌🧑🏻🎄🎅🏼
Same to you!
Thanks for the info and a day of George and friends
Absolutely a wonderful video George! Merry Christmas! I'm in Ontario and yep! We are snowed in here! Lol Definitely gonna be a White Christmas!
Merry Christmas! I hope you are having fun and staying warm. I'm in Flagstaff, Arizona so actually a little snow for effect here too!
George is so kind and love his videos. I feel this video kept getting hyjacked.
That's right, I had forgotten those as tables! Very clever (until you overloaded them)
Love watching you shop. Thank you for all your info.
You are so welcome! I'll eventually have a video on the main channel of us shopping in an antique mall
I just love seeing you all together! I love Tiffany and Danni too. Great resellers and even greater people❤ Safe travels George and Xeno. Merry Christmas!!
Thank you! You too!
Hello george..have a very merry Christmas and an amazing new year
Merry Christmas! I look forward to sharing more with you next year
I have 3 flamingo trays like that from Fla from my Mom & Dad's honeymoon in 1957. They fit inside each other. They are not black though, sort of bamboo-ish in color. I love them.
Neat! Those are great too, I like all kinds of 1950s flamingo stuff
@@TheAntiqueNomadLive I did collect flamingos for a while! Pretty cool birds!
u r all so very lovely people and mr noman how r u soo very smart i love
George that was funny upper crusty lol
Some stores here in CA used to throw out soo much great stuff. Too dirty or people were too lazy sad. It still happens.
There's a glass grinder in the St. Petersburg, FL Goodwill that makes sickening crushing noises all day long. At least they try to sell the cullet as recycled glass
That was a lot of fun.
Great store.
Merry 🎄 Christmas Everyone!!
Aloha for now...👣
Hi, Chereese! Merry Christmas andI'm glad you had fun with this lie we did
Wow. Great things and prices. I may sneak away from my CE lectures early next year while in Vegas.
It's not very far from the casinos, so you likely can get away for a bit!
My husbands shoes were bronzed in 1948. He still has them!
George your the coolest
Oh, thanks so much, you're too kind!
Too bad Dannis store is closed now, at least she gave it a good go. neat seeing you together
Hi George, so nice to see you again.
Hello there! I'm really glad to see you here. I hope things are going well for you!
@@TheAntiqueNomadLive Glad I found you have a TH-cam channel, I'm still in the collectibles biz but just internet sales, no longer a brick and mortar.
Merry Christmas to you and xeno. Thanks for the great videos x
