I just love you, George!! What a joy to watch!! I have learned so much from you over the last couple of years!!! Thanks for showing/teaching us who can't travel or get out! I'm sure it's a lot of work for you but it's obvious how much you love it!!! Keep on keeping on, George!❤
I love seeing him interact and network with other dealers. Respect and kindness towards others is not only being a decent person, but is also good for business too!
This was an interesting glance at what the dealers will set out for sale before the extravaganza begins. Thank you for explaining how it works to us. Watching you take your time to interact with them and your friends you saw along the way made for a more relaxed atmosphere to this video. Thank you Xeno for traveling to Springfield to film for us, you made it happen! And George, especially loved watching you buy the pottery. Louwelsa is the only one I can think of that feels like silk to the touch. Great buy!
So glad you saw it! Honestly, Springfield is just going through growing pains because it had been on the decline for years and now is suddenly a boom town. Traffic problems due to language barriers are real, pet eating is an urban legend that my cop friend there says is absolutely false
This is so much fun. I'm in desperate need of fun, learning, and distraction. A beautiful 3 year old dog that I dogsit for passed away unexpectedly with me. She had an undiagnosed heart condition. 💔 I am finding comfort via your videos. Thank you 💐
I love American art pottery and jewelry. You're right up my alley. So glad i found you. I was so tired of watching thrifters buy games and electronics. Lol.
I was on it, they were in Seattle at the Merchant's Cafe, which has often been said to be haunted (it's been open in Seattle since 1896). However, I told them that "There is absolutely no evidence that the owner's wife objected to his business and came back to haunt it" and they cut it so I appear to be saying "The owner's wife objected to his business and came back to haunt it" (paraphrasing). That's why they call it "making television", they started with a conclusion and then formed the show to support their thesis rather than really investigating anything. Just so you know
They are such great places to find cool stuff! I have noticed that a lot of flea market dealers smoke if they're outside, but I was surprised at the antique show to see that too
Zeno you are the best!I love the way you help George! You add to the video when I hear you comment and you make it lively!Have you gotten your prizes from me ...I sent them with George 😊
Hey George! Thank you for taking us along on the line sale! When you and that jewelry vendor were talking about the Idaho show, it made think of this very unique antique shop in Northern Utah that you might enjoy. It’s called Double Diamond Auction and Antiques. Bettie Marble and her husband run auctions and have the antique store. It’s in Bothwell, UT, which is a quick jaunt off I-15 South not long after you cross the Idaho/ UT state line heading towards Salt Lake.
Honestly, the only real difference this time was a bunch of people who came to investigate and report on things there. The town itself is booming and while there's growing pains that are real, it is not the hellscape some describe...in fact, it's actually improving greatly now that there's an industrial economy there again
The exchange with George and the lady selling jewelry was fascinating and I don't even have an interest in jewelry. :) Xeno is a fantastic is fantastic with the camera, moving slowly each time George points som
That Zippo display was one of my favs~~Love your hair/glasses....Martian Man!! LOL Hi Leroy!! Xeno, you do such a good job at presenting what's around George as he shops as well!! TY! George, what season/episode is the one you were on? I have never seen the show before.
I loved that display too! Leroy is still truckng at 230000 miles, hopefully he will get us to Spokane to see you at the Custer's Antique Show first weekend of October. Xeno really has natural camera skills and I was so glad he decided we should do this! I don't recall the season but the episode was when The Dead Files came to Seattle and reviewed the haunting at The Merchant's Cafe. Their conclusions and advice were incorrect, the woman held a seance as they suggested, and (since they were looking for the wrong spirit) the cafe continued to report haunting incidents after they left.
The International Harvester sign really got to me.... my dad was a well sought after mechanic in northern Maine for international harvester... he truly was a master mechanic... there was nothing he couldn't fix!
Thanks, George, I had planned to be there but life got in the way so your video is terrific. Did you see much sterling or silverplate flatware this trip? Love the amount of sterling jewelry.😄
I wonder why you're not using a medium sized backpack for your shopping. I always take my BIG one when I go to the flea markets in Germany. And I fill it up, too! Haha... But it is easier for me to carry a backpack than lots of bags. This year I forgot a bag with some art pieces on the subway and I am s till sad, because on of the art pieces was one that was dear to my heart.
hi George, love your channel. I was just noting noticing the fanny pack. People are now wearing them across their chest it’s a new trend. You might like to try it. It would look cool.
Love you and Xeno. How much longer on the whole hair thing? Awesome what you're doing, but can't imagine you with short hair now. Love that little white Christmas tree, but not for that price. Maybe $40.
Thank you so much for taking the time to do this video. I missed going this year so I really enjoyed your videos. Thank Xeno for me too. Love you both & still wanting you to come stay a spell with me when you have time. 😘😘😘🤍🤍🤍
My cop friend there assures me that zero reports of pet eating have been called in to them. That was an urban legend started by a Neo-Nazi who led a march there in August.
We're friends with a Springfield cop and he verified that there have been zero reports of pets being eaten there. Apparently a crazy woman in Canton Ohio (near Cleveland, many many miles away) killed a cat and was arrested, and that was morphed into a falsehood by a virulently anti-immigrant group. So it's an urban legend
"One man's trash is another man's treasure," as the old saying goes! I spent $500+ and felt very good about the quality of what I found. There's junk as well, but there were lots of good things to buy too
Isn't it great that we are all unique with our own style 😎 I figure people wear and style themselves to make themselves happy and comfortable. Unsolicited negative comments only serve to make people feel uncomfortable.

You are so welcome! You're welcome to come along anytime.
Hi George just resubscribed. Anyone who is even interested in antiques should be watching you. I know of no other with your knowledge.
Aww, thanks! Glad to see you here
Fascinating, George. Thanks for taking us thru “the lines”!
This was an interesting perspectve of a huge event like the Springfield Extravaganza.
I love seeing him interact and network with other dealers. Respect and kindness towards others is not only being a decent person, but is also good for business too!

Cannot wait to see the treasures that you brought for your set up!!
I love American art pottery and jewelry. You're right up my alley. So glad i found you. I was so tired of watching thrifters buy games and electronics. Lol.
I'm glad you did too! I think games and electronics are exciting to collect, but not so much visually in and of themselves.
Your hair looks great George . love it . enjoy watching you shop
Thanks so much!
Thanks for doing the leg work
Thank you George and Xeno for the 2 hour tour of the early bird shopping!
It was so fun to have you and Xeno come through. I enjoyed hanging out with you for a little bit, as well.
I was so glad to see you, and also to get to have a moment at dinner with you the next day! I always enjoy you and I also like what you buy
George! How did I never know you were on the Dead Files?! Im determined to find it now!!!

The lady who wrapped up the Hager vase was an absolute legend wrapper 👏
Yes! I used her wrapping to send off a Blenko vase with one of my customers the next day lol
Fascinating! ❤ Thanx Gentleman 😊
Always learn something new George and Xeno👏💙
Glad to hear that! We'll keep trying to find more fun things to show
It was so awesome to meet you at Springfield last week! Don't forget to come to Sacramento for some awesome antiquing and thrifting!
It's on my list! Great to meet you too
Very fun! (I was surprised by all the smoking! Lol!) You have motivated me to go back to estate sales again.
They are such great places to find cool stuff! I have noticed that a lot of flea market dealers smoke if they're outside, but I was surprised at the antique show to see that too
Always enjoy your videos
Jewel the jewelry lady was so great!
Hi George and Xeno!! I watched you live and enjoyed it so much! I hope you’re having a great show and having fun!😘❤️
Thanks! It was really good
Thank you for a fun shopping trip.
Thanks for taking us along! I will have to watch the Dead Files just to see you and how they stretched the truth.
They stretched it verrrrry thin
Just discovered your channel and I really enjoyed your knowledge and wonderful personality!
I'm so glad you are enjoying the channel!
Howard Pierce right off the bat! Wow!

This was fun thanks George! Loved the European gadgets and science bits.
I did too!
That Luzianne can was soooo cool!!! Thank youuuuu for bringing us with you!!!

Hi there, Tiger! Great to see you. Pretzel is so cute...

Hi love the jewelry and the “high pony” looks great! 😊
Zeno you are a champ! Fabulous shopping!

Thanks George n Zeno for another great video❣️Loved the first woman’s jewelry displays. P.S They make collapsable wagons now 😉
I know, right? We bought one and then forgot to bring it lol
God items you bought. Thank you for sharing this video
The International Harvester sign really got to me.... my dad was a well sought after mechanic in northern Maine for international harvester... he truly was a master mechanic... there was nothing he couldn't fix!
Neat! My dad was talented that way too, but it didn't rub off on me (sadly)
Your sunglasses look great George 🎉🎉
I wear them better than I wear hats lol
As always your the best !
Luv your laugh
Love your hair like that!!!!
great video, thanks Zeno and George, interesting
More to come, I hope!
Hi George and Xeno. 👋😊
I remember trying to find u last year
Thank you xeno
Thanks, George, I had planned to be there but life got in the way so your video is terrific. Did you see much sterling or silverplate flatware this trip? Love the amount of sterling jewelry.😄
I sold a set of sterling flatware myself! I hope to see you there in May
I think the prices were great! I would have bought a ton !

Springfield Ohio?! Watch your pets!

Would you introduce your camera person to us?
That's Xeno! I tried to get him to show his face but he was being camera shy
hE DIDNT GIVE YOU A RECEIPT
I didn't ask for one, I usually do but didn't think of it. I figure the video shows what I paid so I can legitimately take off my cost of goods sold
