I grew up in a small beach town north of San Diego, and every birthday my mother's wish was to dine at Anthony's. Our whole family of 5 dressed in our Sunday Best and went and had sea food. My mother's favorite was the shrimp. It was an excellent restaurant!

Her earrings look like Alexandrite. They are changing color when she moves them. That is why Alexandrite is more rare than Amethyst. It was more abundant in the early 1900's.
