Girl you rock, thanks for teaching me something and making me laugh. Putting the 4-pistons + EBC rotors & pads on my SS this month thanks to this video. Brand new calipers were only $100 for the caddie ones! Score.
I put the same 4 piston Brembo calipers on my 1994 Silverado, using JEEP 14.9" rotors... My truck STOPS now.. The original discs on my 94 silvy would burn up pads about every 2-3 years at most as the rotors were so small that it took a LOT to stop the truck. My calipers are a little different than the ones in this video as mine say "Brembo" with "Chevrolet" in red underneath that... No cadillac script on mine. Now I'm down to figuring out WHAT disc brake package to put on the rear of my truck as it has drums from the factory and those have to GO next!!!!
Did you installed a brake proportioning valve? And tested and set it, as explained in another youtube miata video and regain front/rear wheel lock as the stock setup the factory dialed. Should set to front and rear to lock at the same time, And then dial a little more front lock. And also regaining oversteer understeer stock setup Both of these setups can be dangerous is not addressed. Another youtube brembo instalation ended locking the the front tires At a minimum pedal presure.
Now that it has been some time since this video was made, can you say how much more performance you get from the 6 piston caliper over the 4 piston? I'm torn between the two, and if it's a significant stopping difference between the two, it would help me decide.
Alex Garcis They do bolt up however they do not clear 17" wheels unless you grind them which isn't recommended. Also they do require the bolt holes to be drilled.
thanks for this video. Will the OE Wheels 18' C5 Deep Dish wheel work for these brakes? i believe they have either a 54 or 56mm offset depending on where you look.
I've been running spacers daily for about 3 years now and zero issues. To answer your question. I'm pretty sure they'll clear but you'll need to measure to make sure.
@@flame5891 we'll I can give it a shot, and if it doesn't work... then I'll get spacers. But, the 18's appear to have more clearance than before.. I have twin pistons currently

@@flame5891 so I bolted them up and bored out the ss rotors for my hubs, the offset was off ughh.. would the z51 brakes from a 15 stingray fix the issue??
@@flame5891 I'm going to try the 15 z51 rotors I belive they are the same diamater as the 6th gen camaro ss. hopefully they fix the offset issue. the ss rotor is liel half an inch off I. cant even mount the caliper.

Right end left calipers carry different part number.
Can get them new at rock auto.
Re-check the part number for the caliper hardware pin kit

Will this work with CTs v brembos ? V1 I have 17 inch rims in front thanks z06

You'll still need spacers just not as thick. I belive for C6 Z06 it's 8mm spacers.

About $200. I got each caliper used for $45 on ebay. Which really helped keep cost down! You gotta shop around if you're on a budget.

What size rotors are they? Are they the 14 inch 2010-2015 Camaro SS Rotors or are they the 12.6-13 inch Base C7 Rotors?

Salvador Calderon go longer, I did the same upgrade but I went with a 18” concave wheels so it cleared without a spacer.
hmmmmm. I have 2017 Camaro 18" rims on my 2002 Camaro.. I wonder if they would fit these without a spacer!? Because I dont run spacers. for reasons.

How many banjo bolts will I need in order to swap all four calipers?
1 Banjo bolt per caliper. However, I don't know how to swap the rear calipers.
Leave stock rears, they only do 15% of the braking anyway.

Just front is a direct fit. You can buy adapters to make the rear work.
