Imo I like to have 3 chien paos just in case 1 gets prized, I like to use my heavy balls for the one ofs like greninja and iron hands. Also can't wait for crypto maniac, one of the best cards in this set hands down. If someone wants to, they can use skwovet to get that one card they need, idk if that's a good strategy but if you're using bibarel, it's an option.
Depending on the meta probably, the main reason for vacuum was bumping path to the peak but now since path rotates out soon .Gotta see how these new ace spec cards do some are tools
I've been running 4 maniacs and 4 irida but recently switched to 3 maniacs and I also run 2 pokegear, but might switch it to 1. I'm also running 1 arctibax because there is a lot of deevolution out here in japan.
In play testing I feel like just cutting the ditto for another pao is outright better. I also thing pokegears are somewhat mandatory bc there can be a lot of situations where your only draw power is pokestop and pokegear gives you a way to find a supporter off pokestop. Ive been post ro pao for a few weeks against other meta decks like zard so this isnt just me talking.
bravery charm. it potentially forces a frenzied gouging from a moon, and zard can't KO after 3 prize cards taken (a small guy T1 and a zard, pidgeot or rotom v t2). with cryptomaniac greninja combo we now have a way to get it as well. really the number of times a charm turned the tide while playing chien pao is staggering. and they never expect it. i've had sooo many decks either fodder or zone their lost vaccuums when they face chien pao, so when that tool makes it have 270hp (or 280 on iron hands), they scratch their head and try to find an out that doesn't auto-loss them. i'd drop either ultra ball or pokestop for it in your awesome list stall/mill is also a threat, with just 2 gusting/switching items, it's so easy for someone to erika's invite or mantine a bidoof from the discard, put it active and it stays there while you scramble. i'd -1 pokestop +1 charm, -1 ultra ball +1 switch (also helps put ditto active, or if it's active, helps remove the 2 prize chien pao before passing, to avoid a T1 moon donking.
Kyogre is also way too powerful in current meta not to include, Kyogre attack k0 2 prize squawk lumineon and mew ex But can also set up 180 damage onto a basic ex for greninja to take out next turn along with a low hp one prize for total if 3 prize cards
I don't like it, it is is sooo shitty to start with, there is much less lumineon, squak and mew post rotation, and u prize map should be 2/2/2 most games so getting 3 with greninja is sub optimal anyway.
Ive been running a 1-1 Palkia line, and Kyogre as a 1 prize attacker in my list. Ive used it in my most recent City League and a few gym battles in Japan, and had some pretty decent success. Ive also seen some ppl use Iron Bundle as well.
i feel like i want to play three rod and then a kyogre over the ditto - hitting 180 with a single prizer into a billy/mew ex is so good for the deck especially into any two prizer racing deck
U just hard retreat because u have no real search for the switch but u do have unlimited energy acceleration + tons of energy search/retrieval. Only reason to include switch would be if meta is swarmed with control, but I'd rather just take the L on those or switch deck since the matchup still is kinda shit.
I haven’t played any Prime Catcher yet. I honestly hadn’t thought of using Prime Catcher as mostly a switch for Greninja and then bench sniping and leaving your next desired target up in the active
There’s too many kids at my local tourney that play Chien Pao.. and rotation will only make it worse. I’m building a Dialga VSTAR deck that’ll be one hell of a troll against them
The list i have been testing with Pao Post Rotation lately is 2 cards off from yours -1 Ditto -1 Codebreaker’s Solution “what it says on Limitless” +1 Pao ex +1 Iono And honestly the list feels really good, i might try out the Ditto for sure could have used it a couple times doing my testing with the deck, the Poffin feels much better when you have a slow start it can recover from those starts really nicely have won a couple close games because of that
I feel like the new supporter is huge if you play roxane. you can Manipulate so easily how he gets the prizes, you can just put roxane on top of your deck and he cant do shit with his iono.

Prefer three, just because sods law pokestop will mill it and one will be prized haha
Your bench has no room for skwovet, bib is moreso a necessity for iono, and you have plenty of ways to dump hand size so it is really not necessary
Pasa link bro
I was planning on playing chien-pao after rotation, this list looks very good, thank you for the video
Thoughts on how important Lost Vaccum's gonna be in the new format. And what would you cut for it?

You don't

bravery charm is good, its just really hard to find, your just going to pokestop it and cry
I think you should include kyogre for snipes and solid 1 prize attacker, also you recover your energy for your next attacker
Which Kyogre?

What about a 1 of cylene to reuse prime catcher since there are so many ways to draw
If you’re playing a Cylene (supporter) to get back prime catcher, you may as well just play boss
@@JDL4398 I'm just adding it to the boss
What about iron bundle or kyogre from crown zeineth.
Could any of the lists that include Palkia v star over Iron Hands work in the meta?
I stopped using Palkia as soon as Iron Hands became live. With a future booster it's hitting for 140 x2 so that's a fairly easy 3-prizer
i feel like i want to play three rod and then a kyogre over the ditto - hitting 180 with a single prizer into a billy/mew ex is so good for the deck especially into any two prizer racing deck
Any thought on future boxs potential?
There is no potential.
@AzulGG Maybe a Kyogre for extra sniping?
Or a Mew Ex for Zard matchup
what about a cyllene? maybe to get back that Ace spec or another item since this deck is using a few.....
Too slow/unreliable and u have all the gas u need to go 2/2/2
curious why no switching cards like Switch or Jet Energy
Prime Catcher is a switching card + Jet energy has zero synergy with all the deck.
Jet works on lost box and Valient

Hard retreats will suck after the loss of Skaters Park, but I like jet for Greninja because it can also be discarded

I realised u didnt input Arctibax, is it that gonna be in the deck? If yes how many
No Arctibax. You never want to have to go through arc to get to Baxcalibur. Rare Candy the frigi directly to bax.
I think it would be better jirachi then Ditto, i lost box is still present
Good start 👍 -CEO Pao
