And the added bonus that if the burn damage knocked out a pokemon, because the knock out wasn';t from damage it doesn't activate abilities like with Fez EX would probably be a really broken deck if you can keep recurring the magmorters

Personally I like the idea of a hyper aroma dodrio munki type spread. Dusknoir packages doesn’t fit as well imo, only thing it synergizes with is the damage spread, where other decks like zard take advantage of the forced prize take n stuff like that
The Lycanroc just feels like a stage one version of the fighting type Bloodmoon Ursaluna. Similar attacks, abilities, and same type. You're trading being a basic and better damage scaling on the attack for the ability to dig energies out of the discard. But Ursaluna can work with basics, while Lycan needs special energies.
You could play blaziken with the magmorter and volcanion Leafeon ex with the magearna Lycanroc with the starmie that does damage Or the glimmora that does a bunch of poison and flips for no prize maybe with bloodmoon or iron valiant or munkidori Banette with the comfey that draw your opponents cards and xerosic, eh I cant wait to play greninja ex now that manaphy is gone, though tera is annoying budew might help slow them down

We have had abilities like this TTar, in black and white we had a Gothitelle that did the same thing, got two top cuts in NAIC 2013 with accelgor, and of course Vileplue does it from the bench but it item locks you too, tons of placements. Though the main difference with TTar is that it does have a useable attack. Instead of having to shuffle your bench around, you can just attack with it and keep it in the active. Or maybe it will be like gothitelle, and an attacker that switches itself will be the play. Whose to say
While Spiritomb was in a sense more powerful as it disabled all Trainer cards, not just Item cards, it also shut down your own Trainer cards. Tyranitar only shuts down the opponent.

A good tyranitar deck is gonna be funn. And probably with mochi it can hit really hard and you cant counter catcher so only boss i guess but then they can't set up or something
Banette, Frolass, budew, munkidori? just lock them with budew early on, then xeno them to 3 or by then if they taking your budews, iono - discard whole hand and just spread dmg with fro and munki
The set up for Ttar would take too long or a waste of rare candy for a card that is not going to one shot a lot of other pokemon. The other issue is 3 retreat cost. Ability wise its great.
Furtious strike is basically unhit. All other meta decks are dead. Ceruledge looks fun. Dont wait until rotation start cooking now with pre release cards and no F cards. Dont listen to these fulthy casual. As a yugi player i can say most pokemon player shave 0 thoughts due to the games solitaire playstyle
I wouldn't say better. Brute Bonnet, mini Pecharunt kos it turn 1. Squawkabilly, townstore, and Carmen make it easy to pull off even after rotation. TTar and budew together, tho.👌🏾 I have big plans for budew and TTar!
first time watching you, (great start) I would have to say as a generic ability the Ttar is definitely the best i've seen but i only recently got into pokemon 4 months ago so my opinion isnt really too valid. Whats ur opinion on the Mamo/Pidgeot Deck? I think its gonna struggle with the simple fact of having to need too many candies but theres also a part of me that just thinks its gonna be the best deck off rip. What's ur opinion?

I am convinced that if N had a guaranteed big attacker (like 260-300) then it's the best deck in the format. Right now I think we just gotta play it as more of a pseudo control deck.
Gothitelle had that ability back in the day and it was just ok. Tyranitar looks like a better attacker, but I still don't see it being a top tier deck. I haven't really been following the JP format, so I don't know how people are adapting to budew, but things could look bad for ttar if players become less reliant on items. On the other hand, things look good for tyranitar if people are planning to ko a 30 hp item locker and they just can't break through a 190 hp mon that also hits hard.
Hold on... regarding Magmortar and Volcanion... What about Medicham ex? You know, the one that reduces your opponent's active to 50 HP. Exactly what you would be doing with Magmortar's burn. There might be something in here.
Couldn't that Lycandroc be used with Meowscarada ex, or Dusknoir/Dusklops? A single Dusklops would mean you could be swinging for 240. 151 Starmie is also a good shout too
Lose a prize. Meowscarada is too slow to set up. I would recommend playing it with iron valiant ex but of course that’s just a 2 prize liability, unfortunately the deck might not be that good

Tyranitar being just your opponents is extremely strong in comparison to Vileplume. Also means you can mill or use TMs to devo while item locking, unlike Budew.
I didn’t think of that. Only difficulty will be the fact that it’s a stage 2, so the rare candies become more scarce. Maybe Flygon will be somewhat viable after this.

Yeah if you got your 4-4 stage 1 line in play and 3 energy on it I think it’s allowed to do something somewhat good.
