@cvproject3684 Can't wait to play it on my steam deck oled. The Last month I been playing and beating all the old ones Contra 3 the alien wars is still my personal favorite.
It's not a sequel. It's more like an re-imagining of the original Contra.
Shame about the generic 3d polygonal graphics. Why just why put that kind of graphics in a 2d game, just imagine how the game would look like with amazing 2d art style with the new tech, muramasa for Wii for example, wasted potential.
Bring back memories! Used to complete this game countless of times. One of the best NDS game i’ve ever played in my life ❤
I hope we another Contra Anniversary Collection II with Contra 4, Contra ReBirth, Contra Advance: The Alien Wars EX, Contra: Shattered Soldier, Neo Contra and Hard Corps: Uprising.

I've never been able to get very far in this one. It's a pretty unforgiving game.
Not ashamed to admit I had to action replay with a friend to eventually get through this, mad difficult
Love this Contra entry! Beat it on Hard multiple times + beat the whole challenge mode for all the extras. Lucia is a babe 👍

i remember my dad getting this for me, he played the original and saw this in the store and got it, remember making it to the final boss which was both triumphant and epic af.

Not really, because this was on the Nintendo DS, which had two screens. And the reason the stuff in the middle sorta disappears is because the two screens had a gap between them where the hinges were, and some developers took that into consideration when designing games for it.

You can play ALL the levels too in normal mode. In Easy mode the Last one Is the 7. But in normal oir hard mode you can play ALL levels
