I own a Mini American Shepherd, not an Aussie, but they are similar and this tutorial is very helpful! He does mat easily behind the ears the most so I’ll definitely have to try out your tip for that area. :D

Yes! Grooming would be exactly the same for them 👍🏼

I saw your washing video. Do you run hot water through nozzle? I’m in GA so temp is 8-10 lower than FL. I’m old & tub is killing my back for 2 Aussies!😂 love all your videos thank you

Yeah we have a utility sink in the laundry room that I’ll hook the hose up to for warm water when its cold here

How do I get to your links to the products used, please? I have a beautiful Mini Aussie and am tired of paying a groomer. He is my PSD and goes to school with me, I am a teacher.
By the way, how often can you safely bathe your dog? I try to keep Inigo Dogtoya very clean due to student allergies.

They are linked in the description of the video 😉 I’d say every month is as frequent as you need to unless they are working in the field. You can bathe as often as you like

How long does it take you to dry your Aussie? I have a Chris Christianson Kool Pup dryer, but it seems to take forever. Easily 30 min or more. I do it inside though. Maybe outside would help it evaporate better?

The girls take around 30 as well, that’s definitely normal. Boys can take closer to an hour sometimes if they are in full coat

Could you maybe do a video on what products you use when bathing your dogs, and why you prefer them? :)

I always struggle with curls and cowlicks when I do their top lines I don’t know how to fix that

Dry completely everytime they get wet. However, some curls are so strong with the genetics that it’s impossible to straighten out

Great video. What do you think of the Shelandy dryer?

Cute Cute Cute I have not personally used that brand but I just looked it up real quick and it looks like it will do the job! I’m just not sure how fast the air flow is so it might take more or less time depending on that.

Is that thing so loud that you wear earmuff ❓❓ I’m guessing they put universal motors just like shop vacs and are very loud. I wonder if any use brushless dc motors , cost more but are quieter. Plus variable speed control is super easy.

Haha no this one is not loud at all. I’m wearing those to listen to music 🎵
