You have to teach your dog to not be afraid. Start with showing the dryer to your dog while it’s off, while giving him his favorite treats. Then try turning the dryer on while giving treats, but don’t let the air hit the dog yet. Just allow your dog to get use to the sound of it. Once he’s use to the sound, then start letting the air hit him. Starting with the back legs and working your way around his body, all the while giving him treats :) good luck!

I have Maltese Shih tzu and he looks very similar, there is no way he will let me near him with dryer when I need to wash him.
I use the lowest setting for heat and power, it’s the same even when I’m drying my own, he’s gone as fast as he can. I’m thinking of purchasing a dog hair dryer but wonder will just be waste of money 🙄🤔
@@yvonneoconnell4084 try turning the hair dryer on on low and sit it near you and don't touch it then use treats and toys to play with him near it.then slowly move closer to it till it's right next to you and ignore it..over time he'll associate the turning on of the hair dryer with playtime and toys..then slowly start blow drying his dry hair on cool setting as a game while giving him treats if done with love and patience it will work

I thought the same thing! Wish I could brush her with a wire brush and see how she likes it! Poor puppy. 😰
