what a stupid design, hdmi should be the last port, furthest port, and not on right side in middle. stupid hp. %95 people right handed and use mouse on the right just in front of the hdmi display out.

Extremely disappointed with my recent purchase of the HP Elitebook 650 G10. Despite advertised battery life of 13 hours, it barely lasts 4 hours in normal operations. Display quality is abysmal, with everything appearing in pale colors. Reported the issues immediately but received a poor response from HP. After a 20-day wait for a service engineer to confirm the problem, it took another 40 days to replace the unit, only to find the same issues persist. Requested a refund, but HP's customer service in India is atrocious. Avoid this product and brand if you value quality and support.

to expensive, laptops such as asus, msi are better for the price. they run everything perfect. same price as hp and apple and other companies like them. this isnt your fault but its them companies that rip of people without an idea of tech

I think you are missing the main reason for the elitebook range (and you may not be the target market).
They have 3 year business warranties with next day on site service. HP is basically the only company in NZ that does that.
My staff are very expensive (software developers), so we will pay a bit more for the elitebook because reduced downtime is worth the cost.
If a laptop dies, it can costs hundreds of $ per day.
Even when we pop the user onto a spare laptop, that costs a TON of time to for a dev to re-setup their environment, or for IT team to swap drives and redo the bit locker encryption.
But if you are not in a fast business environment, then you are probably right, there is the same spec for a lot cheaper elsewhere.
