My old Elitebook 840 with an 8th-gen processor is still working, but the bottom case was already replaced because of the battery swelling up. Otherwise, it's solid. It now uses Mint's Mate and I use it more as a backup for my MBP to ensure my MBP doesn't get too abused.
I love Elitebooks can't get them in consumer retail market cz they're only available to businesses in India but in refurbished market they're easily available and in very good condition because they're mostly corporate retired laptops
This is exactly the same laptop my organization has given me
Lucky you
Gimme
Give it back and ask for a Lenovo
Mate I've been waiting all day just for a fucking sponsored laptop video, damn
If I wasn't holding out for those much-hyped and salivated over Snapdragon X laptops, this just might be finally the Windows laptop that gets me out of the Apple garden for good. It's especially nice to hear the battery life is up to the task. They just need to get the price down to a competitive level with the MacBook Air M1, which is still the best deal in laptopts you can find.
I have an 11 year old HP EliteBook 2760p, and I've dropped it on concrete numerous times and it still works like a charm. I don't plan on getting a new one any time soon, though. My ThinkPads were nowhere near as durable, well-built, or long-lasting...Maybe I got a dud, or a bad model.
I use an 8570p, I have had it since 2019, bought used on ebay and it is amazing.
I see elitebooks everywhere. It's like the salesforce of laptops, no one gets fired for picking it.
Show of hands for everyone under 35 - who got the captain planet reference?
If you didn't know it you should absolutely see it. It's class
Thought di caprio was doing a movie on that?
This device is for me! I like huge bezels around the screen! The sticker is fantastic, because otherwise I might not know whats inside. And I need the company logo below the screen, because I keep forgetting who the manufacturer of my device is! I also like the soothing fan noise of windows machines! So, I guess I would buy it even though I think that it is pretty ugly.
So you do laptop reviews, wow never knew that.
Can you do a review on OnePlus Nord 3? I bought it a month ago (16/256gb) and it is an excellent device in every aspect. (Basically as close as you can get to flagship for close to under 500£)
Redmi K60 entered the chat 😅
@@camotech1314 You have to import that thing from China. (That means questionable software and no real warranty) If I wanted to import a phone from there, I would go for Realme GT5/GT5 Neo.
Not another sponsored video, I watch this channel for independent and witty reviews, not a stream of adverts. There are getting to be far too many of them, not just on here but most of the established channels seem to be going down this route 👎🏼☹️
I'm OK with it if people are upfront about it as I can filter them out.
I have used HP Elitebooks and they're OK but I would pick a Dell XPS or a Thinkpad over them as the "best laptop for mobile workers".
At least you can socialize in office work.
This machine for $1800 is insane. I did not make the purchase even I can grab one for $783 include 6% PA taxes as my 12th Dynabook is not old enough and the HP Panel fall short on nits(400nit advertisement but 344 actual nits according to NBC which is weird) Other than that, it is worthy to buy for $1000 total(Add memory, OS and SSD yourself combined)
Damn you, Daniel!
AMD powered Lenovo laptops seem to be a lot more stable and performant. Maybe slightly biased as my last 3 HP machines died within their 1 year warranty!
Powdering a laptop must be expensive
@@camotech1314what do you mean

I have the G8 x360 (mat) it’s a wonderful laptop, this G10 doesn’t look to me better
I want the wallpaper you used
My last two HP laptop didn't last long. Great for a couple of years then all sort of problems with the hard drive. Combined with insufferable amounts of Windows update bloatware you have to download constantly and your once clean responsive computer ends up slowing down, taking 20 miunutes from start up to getting to the log in screen, heating up, freezing, then refusing to boot windows completely. My next laptop will be an Apple product. Had enough of windows.
Im working on an 8570P elitebook. I have had it since 2019, and it operates windows 10 efficiently. My work has purchased newer elitebooks, and they are really good. I will probably upgrade my laptop in 2026 to a new elitebook. since I believe this one will last that long at least.
Just to be fair to Apple the haters always complain that Apple starts at 8GB. This also starts at 8GB/512GB/i5 for around £1100 with Irix Xe iGPU! People keep saying that laptops over £1000 should never start at 8GB; well, of course, that is the industry standard starting point for ultrabooks, to allow a lower entry point.
This is really a premium business ultrabook laptop so in that context it is solid if unexceptional. Maybe not the time to be buying 13th-gen Intel unless there is a good deal, as the 14th-gen will have improved graphics in a month or two. I would still get a MacBook if your employer allows and you can always stick Parallels on for Windows on ARM for specific Windows software. Obviously, the MacBook will be more expensive, but if your boss is nice, it is better in nearly all metrics.
1400 quid?! Taking the piss
Indeed, better get a MacBook Air for less. Windows 11 sucks and ARM chips are the future of laptops.
Thanks Much !.......
Survives 19 military durability tests 🤔
I had bad luck with HP. every HP I bought did not work well. I tried 3 laptops and 1 all in one desktop in last 5 years and all were garbage.
I like the laptop but I didn't like the review. 12 minutes of advertisement even word choices gives it away sounds like some hp employee wrote it.
true
I. Wish he'd review and cut the 3rd comedy
I’ve got the hp elitebook 1030 G2 core i5 8gb/256gb
Why i don't like on thus brand is their Hinge Problem
What do you mean?
I like the price...😂
ok I will wait 3-4 years and get it cheap on ebay.
Thick bar on the top 🤮🤮🤮
POS only 1 laptop you should be getting at this price range is Apple M3 MacBook Pro.
So nothing negative about this laptop at all? Is it really the best thing since sliced bread or you have sold out to your corporate sponsors...?
Hp alway have problem I bought a 13 inch hp envy for 1100 dollar but it screen has problem and I was stuck with this piece of $$$$
I have this laptop with the 500 nit 2560x1600 display.
Battery life is absolutely terrible. No matter what I do, I can't get the idle power draw below 5 watts, with even the lightest usage resulting in a power draw of 7-10W. This usually means I empty two FULL charges in a day with regular light usage. Safe to say this is the absolute worst laptop for mobile workers!
Would never buy HP.
Every HP machine i've bought dies within a couple of years.
HP = Hinge problem
What do you mean?
Amazing 🎉
No good for beer spill?
He watches Loki, that's it. ✔️
Yoo
1700$ for plastic business laptop oh wow
nice ad
Intel is garbage 🗑️
This is very overpriced. 😅
In Ghana with that money will rather purchase a MacBook Pro and get windows installed for me
