Eve is not a neutral hybrid because her mother is a full vampire(don't pay attention that Seline is a Corvinus vampire) and her father is half-lycan/half-vampire. Eve 75% vampire, 25% lycan.
A few things to add: Alexander Corvinus demonstrates the same "information sorting" ability as the Vampire Elders sorting through blood memories when he listens to multiple police reports in multiple languages and identifies the one pertaining to Selene. As to pureborn Vampires, they seem to have the potential to rival the original Elders in power, since Singe put them in the same category of "pureness" for the Vampire strain and Sonja managed to best Viktor in a fight.
One thing that always bothered me since the second underworld movie was the whole Viktor being afraid of Marcus going rogue and going for his brother. If Viktor was so worried why set up a system where he and Emalia are asleep and just waiting for Marcus to betray them?? Marcus is the oldest and strongest supposedly but would not be able to fight a whole coven if he never became a hybrid like in the second movie, BUT he could have fool everyone into believing the whole "I die, you die" thing but still someone must have been willing to test that theory. Second thing! I just remembered lol, Viktor could have tested this theory himself by killing William and seeing if the werewolves or lycans died off or reverted themselves. If nothing happened he could have just as easily killed Marcus in his sleep or locked him up like William. Avoiding the whole premise of his fear of Marcus and securing the world for vampire kind! Rant over. I would love to hear opinions though. First movie was great but other than Rise of the Lycans the other movies just kept poking holes in plot with leads one to think that for some reason no one could think about a solution to a seemingly simple problem.
Viktor didn't kill William because he wanted to keep the Lycans as slaves. Having said after Lucian's rebellion it was probably just as well for William that half the key to his prison got stolen. Otherwise Viktor would have attempted to end the war at one stroke.
Because Marcus had no independent power base within the Vampire coven. Viktor seemed to hold sway in the Old World Coven (via regents like Kraven), while Amelia seemed to be dominant in the New World Coven. In the beginning of Underworld 2, we saw that the Death Dealers were willing to kill Marcus (even though they believed his death would result in their own deaths) out of loyalty to Viktor. If Marcus made any move to free William, he would have been stopped, and before becoming a Hybrid he wasn't strong enough to take on the entire Coven.
@@OceanHedgehog you have to admit though, chucking Markus into permanent cold storage and appointing another Elder would have been a much safer solution.
The Nordic ocven's speed that makes them looks like mist, has got to b why vampires were said to have the power to turn into mist, in Underworldverse. I wonder what a spiritual lycan would uptained. I always thought Andreas Tanis was given lycan bodyguards. In a behind the scene with the 1st movie, they wanted to make the hybrid form more hairy but it would've been expensive. Selene did have hybrid white colored eyes in the 2nd film after taking Alexander's blood, but that has stopped there.
Werewolf’s do have some self control as seen when they meet lucian in the cave. Also the guards that guard the exiled vampire (can’t remember his name) are Lycian not werewolves. They don’t have the muzzle of werewolves.

Markus was originally an Immortal, then he was bitten by a bat and his cells mutated, turning him into the first Vampire. 1500+ years later while in hibernation, the blood of a Lycan entered his coffin and caused Markus to undergo a metamorphosis, becoming a Vampire-Dominant Hybrid.

This was an Incredible Masterpiece for The Species of The Underworld Franchise.
