Hi there been watching your channel very informative. I have a question. Has there ever been a time that you can recall that a co-worker would not want to help a costumer because they pre-judged them? Thinking that they didn’t have the money to spend in the boutique?
I have a decent sized LV collection (about 20 bags plus luggage pieces and SLGs) and most CAs make me feel that way. I’m always dressed nicely and have hair and makeup done so I’m not sure why that is. The only exceptions have been the boutiques in Boca Raton and in Macy’s Herald Square.

I worked in retail for years, sometimes you just roll your eyes and go...here we go! people will try anything to get money back on used items. the customer was bullying the staff to accept the return. a brand new un used item looks brand new and unused. you can spot it a mile off if its been used. some customers are great, some customers are awful. that's the job (I've been served by plenty bad sales staff too, I have to remind myself sometimes....rubbish pay, rubbish service. It usually stems from poor company training or pay)
Girl, I wish all retail employees felt like you do when it comes to returns. Depending on where you go, some employees approach returns with a very rude and dismissive attitude. I think that's why customers brace themselves for confrontation when returning items. Employees are SUPER quick to rattle off why you can't return something even if you're in the correct parameters. Sometimes you gotta argue them down, get management involved...the whole 9 yards😭 But this was a good video! Im really enjoying this LV series!!!💟
I have an embarrassing story... I was going to purchase my first LV bag the mini Palm Springs and my Card declined 2 times. I know I had save up for it and then the sales associate (her name is Katie) told me to call my bank cause our card has a limit. At first I didn’t know what she was talking about. So here I go to the bank and ask about my limit. My limit was 2,000 so I asked my bank to give me time the same amount as the bag in CASH. Then I go back to the mall and I finally got to get my baby. I had to wait cause it was out of stock. But I’m happy with my purchase and I don’t regret it. My mom thinks it’s a lot but she said the bag is a piece of art. ❤️
My first LV purchase was in Harrods , hubby and I looked around and he was just like “ get it if you want it “ we decided to let me think on it for about 4-5 days and I went back and made my purchase and I love it ! I will not buy anything if I don’t see it and “ love it “ immediately, I did but wanted to see if I still wanted it after I left ... I always follow this rule .. if I don’t love it then I won’t love it later .

My guess is that she had an event she wanted to take the bag to and never planned on keeping it. It irritated me when you said the manager relented. So if I have a hissy fit and act like a 5 yr old I'll get my way? Whereas any other customer who wants to return their bag but acts like an adult won't get the same treatment.
I am surprised that you guys relented and encouraging such nasty behaviours. But I guess as a big brand, they have to be gracious and rather accept the return than deal with a crybaby who doesn’t mind shaming her own self at the end of the day
This is the mind set of people who are determined to get their way. They don’t realize they’re making a f-l of themselves, just that the goal is to get their way.
Hi, I am a male viewer from Paris, France. Just found your channel and have watched some of your videos. OMG, the tone you often use is just hilarious, with that pinch of cynicism (ah, human nature...). It actually reminds many of my friends or relatives who work in luxury retails. Yes, I've heard many similar stories you were reporting in your videos. Many imagine working for a high end boutique as being a fairytale but it can’t be further from the truth. Louis Vuitton being nowadays very mainstream due to their "affordable" canvas bags, unfortunately attracts all types of clienteles. It has become common to deal with some very difficult patrons. The last time I went there I was shocked to see how the customers have changed: it doesn't feel luxurious at all anymore (it more feels like being in a Foot Locker) and even, the SAs hence have had to adapt their language (10 years ago, they used to do their best to speak an elegant French. Now, it is all about some very vulgar slangs) with the French local male customers coz many of them are usually average drug dealers from Paris suburbs who go there to laundry their cash. Except for sunglasses (I am an Asian dude with a typical huge head)), I had stopped shopping at LV since....2010, I think. I was mostly a fan of Marc Jacobs's era . My neighbor is working at the flagship store in Georges V as an assistant manager and some days, I can tell that she is very fed up with most of the customers' bad manners. My cousin's wife has been working in the headquarters office located in the Pont Neuf for so long. It is apparently the kind of dream company to work for in France: salary is not bad, powerful trade unions, many many advantages such as huge discounts on plane tickets or hotels... It is true that the staff can also have some amazing deals during their staff sales, or holidays staff sales. And those deals are not only limited to Louis Vuitton but to all the brands within the LVMH group. She got me a watch a long time ago priced 7500€ in boutique for only 1800€. The RTW pieces she managed to get me at the time were amazingly cheap (something like 80 or 90% off). I also have some friends working at Chanel or Hermès and their experiences are slightly different from yours coz their clientele is more homogeneous in terms of upbringings and financial means and hence, easier to deal with. Those who work for Hermès did contradict you and confessed me once that they could not believe how, some average girls like them, could have such power over so many wealthy people for the sake of a frickin handbag!

Honestly it sounds like she hid the purchase from her spouse and he wasnt on board so she had immense buyers remorse. This is why I keep a seperate bank account and as long as the bills are paid I can buy what I wish :D
I've seen on TH-cam that a man who had the money to buy a Louis Vuitton bag was treated poorly by Louis Vuitton employees. He was dressed casually. He went into a Louis Vuitton store and cut one of their Louis Vuitton bags. He said it violated a man's dignity. Apparently, according to him they wrongly assumed he was too poor to buy a Louis Vuitton bag based on how he was dressed.
I agreed, an LV seller would never force you to buy, but they will encourage you to try and model it in the store. I got a chance to try in Singapore LV, very courteous salesperson. If you need to return the product, need to be in a good condition.
Lol It's wild that mentally ill customers do the exact same shenanigans across the board regardless the type of retail. I worked at a high end spa and had a very similar experience to yours.
Great video and sales tactics! I used to sell Fine Jewelry and would always encourage customers to think about an item before purchasing it instead of impulse buying it and then returning.

My first LV purchase the SA ordered the wrong color. I tried it but it wasn’t for me. It had a raindrop from me walking from my car to the store. Thankfully they eat me return it and I bought the color I had originally wanted the Sa to order online.
I’ve had my fair share dealing with different types of customers. And I completely understand you and please don’t feel bad about it. I used to work for a shoe store in SF and I’ve been called many names ( sad but true, some customers think they’re entitled to say those not so kind comments to us retail workers). I even witnessed a customer spit at my Store Manager when he declined the return.
“I had the power to make them cry” 😂😂😂
With great power comes great responsibility 😭 Too much for a college freshman 🤣
Indeed! 🤣
@@AHeatedMess thanks for the tip. I bought the chanel cosmetic bag. However, the website for the chains, ( for the bag) were sold out. So I bought a chain off of Etsy. Thanks, very resourceful, and a money saver. Keep the good tips coming.
Wow pretty mean
@@luxsational She was pretty mean but I forgive her 🥰
Your professional face at “i don’t know what she’s talking about” 😂😂 you’re so polite! Had i been you, i would’ve cussed her outtt lol
Lol my face 99% of the time 😬
The husband must have seen the price!!! Haha.. maybe she should make her own $$$
I work in customer service too. More often than not, they put drama to the situation because 1. they know they are on the wrong side 2. They will get declined and that's not an option for them. No matter how you talk to them to pacify them, it's just not going to happen.
I had a real bad experience with Louis Vuitton shop in Munich and thinking to publish it as they scammed me, I contacted the shop, LV customer service and so on, they are just not helping at all. They don’t care about us as customers….
I love your channel greetings from Romania. I own multiple online stores. Whenever a client annoys me , I either block them or straight up curse them 🤣
Lol the smile from the thumbnail really said I made her cry and I'm proud of it
Hi there been watching your channel very informative. I have a question. Has there ever been a time that you can recall that a co-worker would not want to help a costumer because they pre-judged them? Thinking that they didn’t have the money to spend in the boutique?
This happens to me every time I go to the sf store
Great video idea
I have a decent sized LV collection (about 20 bags plus luggage pieces and SLGs) and most CAs make me feel that way. I’m always dressed nicely and have hair and makeup done so I’m not sure why that is. The only exceptions have been the boutiques in Boca Raton and in Macy’s Herald Square.
@@stickman1215 You’re not far from me....I wish she would respond it may open up a good dialogue. Maybe they are trained a certain way? I’m not sure what it is. But I still like the brand and still purchasing....😂😂😂😂
@@lorycorbett702 same here! I buy more online and have found telephone customer service to be very nice and helpful so I don’t know what it is either. Maybe because my profile pops up when I call in? But, still, it’s not like I walk into a boutique looking like Oliver Twist’s mother! 🤣🤣🤣
I'm not interested in or have anything Louis Vuitton but i live for your story times! LOL
I just started buying luxury things , and I been loving ur videos on L V they have been helpful
Love to hear stories from your LV work experience. ❤️ enjoyed the video, Cindy
If I return a bag, I would make sure it's clean. Blaming a SA is ridiculous. I clean all my bags before I sell them. I respect myself and others.
LOOOOOOL too funny. you "forced" her to swipe her credit card LOL. Great video Cindy. Thank you for sharing.
OOHH.....NOW!! The bag is ‘’too heavy’’??!!
Lol yes it somehow gained weight over time 🤪
that lady sitting somewhere and this video is recommended to her with TH-cam crzy algorithm and she wants to know about the dramatic woman that cried --unbeknown to her that she is that very woman.
I would’ve lost my mind lol but you have so much power 😂...Love your videos!❤️
I am surprised that you guys relented and encouraging such nasty behaviours. But I guess as a big brand, they have to be gracious and rather accept the return than deal with a crybaby who doesn’t mind shaming her own self at the end of the day
😂 Yes the managers would have to do a quick cost benefit analysis at the moment and often took an L if it got a problematic client out of the store 🤗
This is the mind set of people who are determined to get their way. They don’t realize they’re making a f-l of themselves, just that the goal is to get their way.
The store manager should just give the crying lady store credit rather than return as she already used the bag. I think she would accept store credit.
Thank you so much for watching! I have lots more stories on the way 🥰
Wield that power carefully Cindy! 😂
Great video and funny looking back at it. Thank you for sharing your experiences working at LV!! Xox, Lorna
It was definitely an experience 😂 Thank you Lorna!!
Love the stories!!
Awww love this video. Its nice to listen to ur experiences before with LV. Love ur smile and ur laugh, its contagious. Makes me laugh too. Keep this type of videos coming. Have a good one Cindy. ❤️🤗
Hey Cindy...oh wow that blue is Amazing 💙💙💙
That's comforting you didn't force bags, I hate when sales does that!!
Yaaasss you have the power...🤣🤣🤣
TFS
I'm so sorry you had to go through that people are the worst
Lol she definitely could not afford the bag 😂
Thank you for sharing your experience
Thanks so much for watching 🤗
My husband try to surprise me with $4500 bag I just open it , I don’t like it at all it has an initial on it but also removable , I haven’t used it yet I really want to return. I don’t know what to do
Honestly it sounds like she hid the purchase from her spouse and he wasnt on board so she had immense buyers remorse.
Did he cut one of their Louis Vuitton bags in store? That's crazy!
More stories pls!!!
I agreed, an LV seller would never force you to buy, but they will encourage you to try and model it in the store. I got a chance to try in Singapore LV, very courteous salesperson.
If you need to return the product, need to be in a good condition.
I want a LV X A Heated Mess collaboration 🤩
Why is returning a bad thing? Cos I returned few items already. But it’s not like I don’t buy and keep.
It’s not 🤗
How do y'all know if a Louis Vuitton bag is unused ?
The pretty colorful bag, is that just a shopping bag or does LV make an actual handbag with that colorway? Your response is appreciated ☺️
Just a shopping bag.
Hi! What bag was it she was returning? I actually loved the way it looked on the pic insert and I really wanted to try to find one
It was the Louis Vuitton “Riviera” in black epi - it’s a beautiful bag 🤗
@@AHeatedMess yaaaas! Thank you!
A lot of what I'm reading talks about the lining being sticky and says thats a common issue?
Your story time is always very entertaining 🌸💗🌸
Lol It's wild that mentally ill customers do the exact same shenanigans across the board regardless the type of retail. I worked at a high end spa and had a very similar experience to yours.
Wow, thank for sharing. This is wild
More likely someone wanted to show off and then want to return the item to get a refund.
Apparently there was a need for her theatrics because otherwise she’d still be out that 2-3k. You guys were going to deny the used bag anyway
Im just here to tell you how much I love you!! I just love ur videos and voice and LV is by far my favorite brand 😘
😂😂😂 thanks for sharing!
40k subscribers?! Way to go girl!!
Do I see a 50k subscriber holiday giveaway in the future?! 🤩🤩🤍🤞🏼
Hello
LV salespeople do make commission.
I asked my LV salesperson if they made commission and she said ,”Yes.”
You are so funny! 🤣🤣 ... I like to watch your videos just to hear what you gonna say next .... 🤣🤣
Great video and sales tactics! I used to sell Fine Jewelry and would always encourage customers to think about an item before purchasing it instead of impulse buying it and then returning.
Question, why all people employee at louis vuitton are snabby?? You walk in they wont assist you or if you need help, i went to 3 different louis vuitton they are snabby, but if they see you wearing nice clothes they go and ask if they need help, well the reason i go cause i see if they have the mini pochette, but the 3rd bad experience, i didnt go back again.
Some customers are shady.
Yeah I can see how you could have forced her to buy the bag and then made her cry.......you are pretty scary Cindy 😂😂😂😂😂 (kidding of course), you are lovely 💜
Please do a video about an LV employee not helping a customer because of their race (color of skin) or has the impression the customer can't afford a LV bag.
I have 3 kind of shoes from LV , just love them ❤️my best experience was in NYC branch , the lady is an angel and so kind 💕, she was in her day off but still helped me by the phone . I was impressed
I’m Filipino too and love your LV experiences ^_^. Do you know if LV coming out with iPhone 12/pro cases? I want one!!
Was she banned from LV after that incident?
Nope 🤗
New fan here, send love from the Philippines 🇵🇭 ❤️
Thanks so much for watching 🥰
ur right! respect
I hate crying. 😢😭😂 I won't be able to stand that scenario. Great story.😄
I would have more sympathy if she didn’t accuse me of forcing her to do something against her will 🙃 Otherwise no need for theatrics 🎭
Im sorry, but that thumbnail looked pretty intimidating lol, Loved the video tho!
😭 I promise I’m very friendly 😂🤗
Gosh love the video, another Feliciaaaaa....I mean Karen😂🤣😅 I work in CS and oh gosh so much Diva and Dramatic customer who lie just to get in their way🙄 but oh well the name of the game in Retail and Customer Service in general🤪
Cindy! You made me watch this video 😉 😂🤣 Great content 💖
How do you know if something is being discontinued?
This is why I will always work no matter what so no husband can tell what to buy
Lol you made her cry sissy! 😭🤣
The manager should have known better.
im pissed they accepted the return, that aint right. I did not get a return when I tried, grant it I did not cry, didn't realize that's what you need to do, wow. thumbs down LV (not ur video tho)
Her husband "forced" her to return it.😁🤣
Her husband definitely told her to return it
That is my suspicion as well lol 🤗
She didn’t like the bag aka her husband told her to return it lol. Could you do a video on why LV may ban a client?
I talk about LV banning clients in this video 🤗 th-cam.com/video/bUnma7ioiB4/w-d-xo.html
The husband made her do all that
Listen... it shouldn’t matter If they return it. It was still in her return window. It doesn’t come out of your pocket (you even said you don’t make commission at the LV store) ✨Louis Vuitton burns unsold bags...✨ I don’t understand why some associates are so mean and get power happy. She probably had major issues about it with her husband. You never know someone’s situation. she should be able to return it and that’s probably why she was crying... You don’t resell returned items anyways....
Hi Cindy! I love your videos!
Woman: "I want to buy this bag"
Cindy: "okay"
Woman: "she FORCED me to buy this bag!!! 😭😥😡"
Literally what happened 🥺😂
