Mr emmitt smith showed more passion and fight in that interview than the entire cowboys team in that playoff game
First I saw Jimmy’s intensity at how disappointed he was at the halftime show of the Cowboys game. Now I have seen Emmitt’s intensity talking about them. That is what these Cowboys teams haven’t had for decades.

As a Dallas fan Emmitt spoke to my soul. Feels good knowing someone cares about it like we do. The current guys are individual businesses, who don't care, not like Emmitt. It hurts, because we have no chance with the guys on our team. We'll be good, but won't do everything a champion has to do to win these big games. It's get paid, talk 💩, go on extravagant vacations then do a pod.
Don't doubt Mr Ego himself never passes a moment to encourage and advise his players about branding through his Business/ marketing savvy. Its another way of stroking his own ego.

There’s a soft culture w/ players that don’t get coached hard. You combine that with player’s who feel they’ve arrived at the top by just being drafted to the Cowboys. These players are more interested in pumping up their “ brands “ then winning. Watch the crying start when Mike Zimmer starts busting their butts. “ Oh he’s out of touch with young players.. why they cry? because they’ve never been coached hard in the NFL. Pre-Madonna’s is what we have and not hard core dawgs. When they get punched in the mouth they fold. No need more proof than that!.

It's interesting that the European Ryder Cup team room has pictures of all the great European players from past teams on the wall. The inspirational Seve Ballesteros still has his own locker in the locker room - a 13th man. The current team knows it is playing to respect and honour them and their legacy.
