Wonderful explanation. As a new RC flyer, I found this very helpful!
Great tips in this video for sure! Looks like a nice channel too 👍😁 Keep up the awesome work and Happy Flying! Oh, nice radio too 😎⚓️
Being Recognized by one of your idiols just made my day ❤️
after adjusting the battery for a level flight, how do you dial in the level. do you move the adjustment down if the plain is still going up or move it up.
Hi, thanks for the informative video. May I please ask… Ive noticed that every HH/E-Flite planes I have bought come with the left aileron slightly raised. When I centre all control surfaces to neutral and then take it on its maiden flight, I notice that the plane will bank slightly to the left. Is this because during production, it was “trimmed” this way to accommodate left throw from the propeller/EDF spinning anticlockwise?
Also, am I correct in thinking that digital trimming from the NX8 in AS3X mode, will also correct the trim when switching to SAFE?
Thanks in advance for your response.
Grate information love the radio
Dayum the smart packs! 🤯 I thought i had a bunch! 🤪👍
They are like rabbits
If I adjust everything in pro mode, does the adjustment stay the same positiond when I switch to safe mode?
Nice airplane, thank your informations
This is SO critical. I slammed a BRAND NEW Eflite P47 into an embankment because my elevator was just slightly off center. Just enough that I could not get the lift necessary for take off, and I ran out of runway. And I’m literally only talking about a few millimeters. Center of gravity, same thing. If you aren’t achieving the CG called for in the manual, Add weight until you are. Trust me, your plane will fly SO much better. As a beginner, I assumed if I was using the called for battery, in the right spot, I’d hit the CG called for. I was wrong. Tire balance weights work great! They already come with one side stickered and are generally one ounce weights. Amazon sells a pack of like 20 for a few bucks.
my 3d eratix wants to turn to the right and nose dive when it turn safe off trying to figure out why its doing that
I have level flight on 50% throttle, but it goes up (climb) when I go 100% throttle. Does it just need moor down elevator trim or is it a other problem? Thanks for reply in advance!
At 100% it will climb most planes do this you can trim in a little down elevator but I would say trim for level flight at 50 to 75%
except you didnt show how to trim the plane using the remote which is what i was looking for
The last way to trim a plane is in the air, you should try to mechanical trim everything first
@@Tallguysrc But how do you trim it when it's flying?
Chris this is how you set up your plane first flight, if it's wrong land and repeat, get it near as it can be this way, then a few clicks to dial it in fine
@@Tallguysrc Thanks for the replay. This is a good video but I figured out the little things that look like switches will trim the plan while it is flying if some adjustment is slightly off. I'm brand new to this controller. Sorry
Sorry buddy but you kept going over n over the same ground
Thanks for your feedback 😀
What's with that? It is a beginner tutorial it should be repetitive so it will help better understanding and also stuck in people's head and they won't forget it.
Thanks for the video man really helpful
well, crap. you started out pretty good, but then executed a ground loop.!
at 4:14, you have incorrectly put ALL THE BLAME on cg.!!! a model plane usually Needs a bit of up-trim, in its ELEVATOR. if the cg is good (by the book/at 30% of chord), then, a pilot SHOULD first be determining, in flight, how MUCH up-trim Needs to be in the elevator. he does this by flying the elevator, continuously; while the model is being flown at a nominal/cruising throttle setting. while doing so, he can visually determine the 'angle' of the right stick and land. or he can.... i Could go on, but it's YOUR tutorial.!!! googletranslate
David the problem is you put in any up trim and roll inverted you now have down trim and your plane drops and you have to push in down trim everytime you do a roll to keep the nose up, if you just fly around in circles and never do stunts what you say holds some truth.
@RC Brothers Switzerland Thank you my friend.
David, it is easy to tell others what to do better, but why don`t you make your own video and show that you can actually make it better?
I don't use/need nor want safe or as3x. Too much of a hindrance for me. Great for newbies tho.
I do everything level, after setting mechanical trims, & add 2% up, right aileron. Usually only a couple of clicks trim needed if any.
@Old-RC PLANE-phart i was tought to fly on a plane with no safe or gyro systems, so I see safe as fun way to just nail landings and use it on takeoffs when it's windy.
