- What a sweep, two wins ended up being nail biters, but the Mets get to head to London on the heels of a commanding win vs. a good Nationals team. Luis Severino had an incredible outing Wednesday evening with some great defense from Pete Alonso and Mark Vientos. The Mets were a TRIPLES team during this series with 5 in their last 6 games, Starling Marte and Tyrone Taylor were some of the boys go put the wheels on. David Peterson looked great in game 2 in a game where Harrison Bader got to play the hero and the Mets get to go across the pond feeling STRONG.
This episode also features an interview with an ALL-TIME Met, Daniel Murphy. Daniel talks to us about stealing 3rd in Game 5 of the NLDS, a little about his extreme knowledge of baseball history, and which Mets he still keeps in touch with. This is a must listen for anyone who watched the Mets during Murph’s time with the team.

PLEASE! Why don't hosts talk more about Murph's gamesmanship? His constant situational awareness, and his sneaky genius which always created added excitement and fantastic plays on the field. GGOAT (greatest gamesman of all-time)
We want more Murph on TV!
That was phenomenal
I was at that Game 3. The noise was insane.
My favorite non play of that 2015 run was against the Cubs and seeing a sign in the stand that read "John Lester sits when he pees"
Typing this before I watch the rest....that 3 homer game to take the NL East was absolutely nuts. Craziest game I ever went to
The mets are not back though....let's see them get to .500...not saying they're done, but definitely not back
Murphy 4 President !!
D Murph is such a legend. I live listening to him speak, much like RA Dickey.
Daniel Murphy went to englewood high school in Jacksonville Florida he signed a ball for me
It broke my heart when they let Murph go.
Coolest!
can you talk to Gelbs or Gary
Remember when we all thought Steve Cohen was going to be a good thing?
GET RID OF THE LOGO, PLS LEAVEV OUT POLITICS
there's nothing political about sexuality. I think its silly that every company under the sun changes their logo once it turns June but just say you don't like gay people and leave; no need to pretend you think its a political disagreement.
Couldn’t agree more
I agree
@@majestikmse8862 No, there are Muslim and Jewish holidays as well, what does gay have to do with Baseball? Maybe put up a straight logo for July, Point, no one cares about this stuff in MLB, enjoy the damn sport, it's ruining the sport. Why someone not be pro LGBT? just it has 0 to do with MLB
I disagree with his lifestyle. I do disagree with the fact that Daniel is a homophobe. That doesn’t mean I can’t still invest in him and get to know him. I don’t think the fact that someone is a homophobe should completely shut the door on investing in them in a relational aspect. Getting to know him. That, I would say, you can still accept them but I do disagree with the lifestyle, 100 percent.
It's not a lifestyle. Most heterosexuals don't consider their sexual identification or orientation as a lifestyle. Look up the word. I'm Italian. ..most of my lifestyle is rooted in my Italian heritage.
You sound like a Biden voter lol
@@brycethomas8864 no. But your response was immature and egocentric. Blue Maga ..Red Maga ..you all are damaging the nation
@@brycethomas8864 first not a Biden voter that response is puddle deep and the response is egocentric and immature. Blue Maga . Red Maga. both are damaging our nation with their nonsense
@@brycethomas8864 Sick burn, bro. I'm shook.
Murphy should be coaching in some capacity with the Mets, they need his fire, determination and drive in that clubhouse.
