Commissioner Allan H. (Bud) Selig announced on January 19, 2000, that the 30 Major League club owners voted unanimously to centralize all of Baseball's internet operations into an independent technology company. Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM) was formed and charged with developing, building and managing the most comprehensive baseball experience available on the internet. In August 2002, MLB.com streamed the first-ever live, full length MLB game when the Texas Rangers and New York Yankees faced off at Yankee Stadium. Since that time, millions of baseball fans around the world have subscribed to MLB.TV, the live video streaming product that airs every game in HD to nearly 400 different devices. MLB.com also provides an array of mobile apps for fans to choose from, including At Bat, the highest-grossing iOS sports app of all-time. Best move was DFAing Narváez
i thing not
Great job boys as usual
Good job
I think streans is doing a good job overall..hes making moves..he inherited a mess..but the moves hes making make sence..hes smart and i have full confidence in his abilities..it will take a while its his first year with limited budget..im fine with it
Marte should be on the oust as well.Whenever he comes to bat I get up and walk out the room.
you mightve missed his big night then...
I hear ya
1 night isn’t nearly enough
Batys looks like a flop
How about u cut Marte some slack guy lost his wife u broke pathetic losers who r casual met fans
The fact that he wasn't asked about the Lopez incident tells you all you need to know about this interview.
Not really. Its not important its more of a distraction unless youre into milking drama . But for that there are soap operas you dont need to look to sports for that.
@@emmanuelwood8702 It was a legitimate question.
He was right all along!
I still trust this guy. 😅 LFGM
To get back to .500 they need to win the next 10 series. That's a lot to ask this team.
Scott was a good pitcher.
He’ll be back within two weeks. He was sent down simply because they have a lot of off days coming up with the London Series, and they want him on a regular schedule. Plus, it allows them to carry an extra player in the meantime.
😮 You shaved the stache, Jon! Good job, Stearns, everything I suggest you do 😅 #LGM
It was time. The feedback was bad
Pham, who was traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks at the trade deadline, told The Athletic that he told Francisco Lindor that the Mets had the “least-hardest working group of position players" he had ever been around
Do you have any new and relevant news? What you’ve said has been well documented.
@@brandonin_ny It's a friendly reminder, I'm trying to identify who are the core guys and how it translates into a winning culture.
@@whoev3rdidit yeah, I wish Pham had elaborated a little bit to sort out any confusion.
Playoff Team🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Keep laughing. We will be back #LGM
@@mpdior I certainly hope so #LGFM
this series against d-backs is so important for the future
UPDATE?!
Need more Americans on this team
Does Jeff McNeil have a future on this team?
Please please please trade McNeil
This guy looks he hasn’t slept for weeks
Orange. Blue. Fix the logo now.
Analytics have ruined the Mets and baseball, in general, over recent years.
The very cute boi in blue jacket with no beard
Funny how Stears has tilted away from the questions while in his seat, as if he really didn't want to be there, or answer questions. I was a little perplexed as to why Christian Scott was being moved down , but it makes sense to me now. He'll certainly be back. Baty, I have confidence in him but I think he needed to be sent down some time ago. Let him work on some things.
This guy just rubs me the wrong way. He seems like a snarky know it all… He’s got that smirk that irritates me. He reminds me of Brodie.
A POBO seems like a know it all because typically they are all very educated. These people graduate from Ivy League Schools.
@@ethancohen7_ I’ve met some Ivy Leaguers who are analytically smart and can pass a test but some are dumb as a rock when it comes to intuition, emotional intelligence, and being street savvy.
@@tvtechwonv27 Yeah like I get what you are saying on why he rubs you the wrong way. Majority of top front office people are just like this. Stearns was and will be a tremendous hire. He’s one of the most highly regarded executives around baseball.
The Mets should just relocate to another city!
im sorry
trade edwin
What we are seeing is not too goods. The Mets are not playing that good. Are they going to wake up yet? At the end of the season they're going to wake up. I won't waste a penny to buy tickets to see the Mets
Softball questions
This podcast is a joke. Guys hired by the Mets to ask questions to other guys hired by the Mets. Just brown nosing
What would you ask?
This is not the Fan. Oh Mike and the Dog where have you gone. This is insane listening to this. All we need is Mendoza popping up as a puppet saying if we follow the process. we should win a World Series in the year 2378.
Mike and the Dog were both buffoons (and made their career talking on the phone to larger buffoons).
These two guys are actually knowledgeable about the Mets system and actually ask good questions.
💯
we actually just had Mike Francesa join the podcast. Check the episode out!
5 years and counting.....
Pathetic interview
Don’t need to watch.
@@ethancohen7_ glad I helped you out
Really!?
@@ethancohen7_ don’t need to comment
@@poltronafrau I’m not the one initially complaining about anything. It’s all good lol it’s ur opinion. LGM
Win today? Just try and win today? Bro...no shit, thats what youre supposed to do...we arent winning series which means we arent trying to WIN TODAY EVERY DAY
If it was easy every team would do it. Lol
Im not a fan of Stearns.....it has nothing to do with his baseball IQ....its because he has a smirk that comes off as arrogant and i TRULY believe he doesn't speak the truth.....he only speaks in what he believes are the words that work best for HIM. I don't believe he has been transparent regarding Alonso. I don't believe he's anywhere near as positive about Baty as he shows himself to be..... and i definitely don't believe he ever believed this was a possible playoff team despite saying such on many occasions. He seems to behave the fans have no idea what is going on with this team. Im not suggesting he isn't capable as a GM.....i just believe he is not giving his truth in interviews and press conferences. I've been watching this team since before he was born. I don't need to listen to a guy talk without complete sincerity and that's what i feel every time he opens his mouth.
What a shame you feel this way. There isn’t a GM in pro sports that is 100% transparent about their team. The reason is because they can’t.
ISIT… In Stearns I Trust😊
@@brandonin_ny I realize that....but there was no doubt this wasn't a playoff team before they ever took the field and he suggested they believed they'd contend. That's not authentic. That's blinding a fan base that has reasonable intelligence as a whole. I also believe he has never anticipated resigning Alonso and I knew as soon as Senga went down to injury that he wouldn't be back anytime soon. Believe me..... they knew more than they were willing to tell the fan base. They didn't want to lose ticket sales or interest. I know it's part of the business. I just feel they should be more transparent with reality.
💯
@@johncummings5350 with respect, John, I disagree. You and I want the same thing, which is more Mets victories, so it’s all good. 👍🏻
Statistics about how hard they hit balls mean nothing. They need a real change of culture. Doesn't seem like anyone gives a shit on this team.
