- The door of my RV was stuck completely shut, a key was broken off in the lock, and the internal latch system broke. So how do you open the door when the internal mechanism is broken and you can’t pull the latch back to get the door open so that you can take off the door lock assembly? Well I figured out “A” solution if you have a couple basic tools.
