Word of advice, If you're in the market for anything MFJJ has at his shop, order it from him without worry, I ordered a Bitzenburger Jig on Sunday and it's already traveled from WA. to my local Post office in PA. and will most likely be delivered tomorrow!! Seriously though I live about 1.5 to 2 hours from Lancaster Archery Supply and I got this in the same amount of time as when I've ordered from them.. His pricing is pretty competitive too..
Hey Josh, could you make a video for what a beginner that wants to learn how to do everything hisself and cover the must haves, the things you may need that could make life a little easier and all the materials that are needed as far as serving d loop material and all the hand tools. I know it’s a huge ask but I I’m a firm believer that outside of the people that take pride in their work that no one cares about the quality of the work that goes into a bow as much as the owner. Thanks!
Video idea: Have you ever played with twisting a string the other direction when you make one to see if that makes arrows clock the other direction? Would eliminate the need for a left helical rather than right and avoid an arrow spinning the direction that causes points and broadheads to slightly unscrew on impact.
Thank you for another awesome video. I have ordered everything to get my home shop up and running. Bow press draw board draw scale and mathews fingers.
I’m hoping you are still going to do a comparison of all the current Long Draw bows that you reviewed 3 months ago. Hopefully with speed tests at a longer draw length like 32”. I’m having a hard time deciding between the Revolt XL and the Atlas and because I’m left handed I can’t find them in stock to try out.
You're completely cross country for me , however, the information I've gleaned from your videos is why I'd rather make my hard earned purchased from Podium Archery. I'm planning to purchase the original EZ Green press soon as well as a vise. Haven't decided on whether it will be the Baker or the Last Chance version. Keep the great content flowing.
Awesome video, I’m in the market for a Bowpress and was hoping you’d do something like this. I’m a ez green guy myself. Can’t wait to be able to drop the hammer on purchasing one.
I've made my own bow press out of wood I made it where it will do my bows and my crossbow I'm just getting into pressing my bow my next purchase is a small bow vise after that I'll be working on making a draw board. I have to do all my own work cause I'm retired and my bucks go to my bills.
Leopold RX Fulldraw 3 and 4. I tested the RX4 against some other high end range finders known for there accuracy and it held its ground. The 4 also uses Archer's Advantage software if your into that.
Dan shoots a left helical, is that because his string is twisted Right? You guys should (tinker) run a test with twisting the strings left or right and see how it affects the arrow coming off the bow.
Hey MFJJ, I am looking to turn my easy green into the cordless option like you have at the shop. When are you going to make a video or publish the parts list??? I've been looking online and haven't found any other videos on how to turn your press into a cordless drill press......thanks
MFJJ Will we be seeing the videos you talked about on the bow build you will be shooting this year? I was really looking forward to seeing a series from you on that love your videos and appreciate your opinion
Long time watcher frist time commenter. Hi from nz 🇳🇿 .. mfjj what are your and sting/cable dampeners? Do you need them, small vs big, whiskers vs monkey types 🤔 be interested to see a video on this and get YOUR opinion on it 🤙🏻
Great video as always ! Wonder if u would consider doing a video on the new v3 x with the switch weight technology and how it relates to a lower poundage draw weight such as 45 pounds should it be done ? Does bow shoot the same? Or is it better to just not buy that specific bow ? I’m looking at buying a new bow and really didn’t care for how the prima shot wanted to look at v3 x but my bow shop said not a good idea since bow limbs would have to be turned out to far . There really isn’t much info on this anywhere I contacted Mathews and they said no problem to turn bolts out to drop to like 45 pounds . Anyway just thought it would make a great video I know I can’t be the only “person drawing 42 pounds to like 46 pounds that would love to buy the new v3 x but not sure if it is designed for that poundage . Thanks
I'm probably going to get a bow press but I'm wondering if there are any other options outside of LCA or if anyone is planning to release a new one? It seems crazy to me that there are so few options.
I'm going to fabricate one and see how much the difference would be between buying one and buying materials. I will build the one that pivots and allows you to stand the bow up. Heck it would be so easy to convert a basic LCA press to have that rotation feature.
Did you happen to get a quote on the spike press. I was looking at that one recently on their website and noticed they require a phone call to obtain the price so I figured it had to be over a thousand....Also, how do you like the EZ?
@@Scott_Seward It’s a nice press and it does what it’s suppose to do. Would I buy it again, no I would buy a spike press. If you’re on the fence and you shoot Bowtech I would get the spike press. They probably don’t have the price listed due to the cost of materials going up daily, when I was shopping they were 125 more than the EZ press. But Spike has the ability to run many different attachments compared to the cookie cutter EZ.
It's crazy how people like to dog on a crossbow,, Considering I will probably NEVER,, let me say that again NEVER press a compound bow because all I shoot are crossbows that's all I like to work on is crossbows,, And sooner or later when you compound shooters blow out your shoulder you will be shooting a crossbow as well,, Either that or give up hunting,, Otherwise the information you gave does deem helpful because I'm in the market for a press,,,
Sad story, none of the LCA bow presses are for me. #poor_person. Someone needs to make a cost effective option. Somewhere in between the LCA and bow medic portable press.
@@caninphx I built a couple bow presses. However, now a days, my time building them is worth more then just buying them. Frankly, the bow medics work so I just use them. The middle ground option would be nice though
F your scammy f'n add pop ups on your website also when you reffer to different items in a video call it by its name, not "this one, and that one" staying away from your content for sure.
It's really disappointing getting packages of arrows from a "JOSH JONES" instead of MFJJ. Really like my EZ Green for my simple simple shop setup.
Yep
Keep coming back to see if you drill adapter video has posted.

When will you guys release the video on changing the ez green into a power press??!!!?!?
Alaska is in the USA and the shipping should be the same as shipping to Seattle.

Just ordered my easy press from you today .... looking forward to it
Thank you so much! This is the video I have been searching!
Can you do a video on the bow press from total vise? I keep seeing it pop up in my feed, but haven't seen any walkthroughs.

Nice I needed this I’ve been confused for a while might actually pull the trigger on getting one
Can you do a video on range finders ? Are there any that do an accurate angle compensation?

Thanks for breaking it down the different presses. Can you go how’s to make your 3d targets last longer?

I have been looking too....would really like to do this when I purchase my EZ deluxe next month

very nice breakdown
Where are the promised 2022 bow setup videos?
If you get the chance please do a review on the BT Carbon Zion.

Did you mean you still need a mini crossbow adapter with the ultimate ez for bows like ravens? Or you dont?

@@Scott_Seward not yet, been too busy.
@@ninjazxdThank you for replying.
How much to ship an EZ Ultimate Deluxe to Hawaii? Thanks.
Dude, you could sell ice to an Eskimo.
How do you keep the bow from wanting to slide down if you have beyond parallel limbs?
lca website claims mini crossbow adapter wont work on the standard ez press.
Second
If it does I’ll buy
I was looking at buying a press from you, but wasn’t sure what the option for 1st and 2nd axis were. Could you explain?
What are the dimensions for mounting the feet? Or is there somewhere I can find that info?
I bought an EZ, but it was a hard decision when comparing it with the spike press.

Thank you for replying. I shoot PSE's, originally the old Brute X but upgraded last year to the Levitate.
What about an all in one press were you can use it as a vise for leveling also?
Order yourself an OMP Versa & buy the Xtra long attachments when u do for those huge width limbs that r now very short. U won't regret it.
What about the pack n go press
Could you do a video on how to tune the Bowtech Solution?
What going on, that a pretty easy to tune setup. I have one they're shooters
I am no longer ordering from podium archery until they ship with the name MFJJ

Do you ship to Canada?
no they don't. or didn't the last time I checked

build one. buy the fingers from LCA, go but the tubing and weld one up. there are plans out there for them
