- Today I want to share with you my Chicken soup recipe with tortellini. This also doubles as a chicken stock recipe, and I will be making more recipes with this chicken stock!

That's brilliantly simple. I love the way you throw everything in a pot. Don't even cut most of the vegetables.
You don't even really need to cut them if you're just getting the flavour out of them. I used to cut them in the past but now I don't - it's much faster! :)

I dont use turnips are leeks just onions celery carrots and 2 potatoes and he put to much water in the pot i only put a quarter of water and 2 big can of chicken broth and one small can of hunst sauce way better then his use a whole bag of baby carrots celery plus the leaves the leaves have alot of flavor and chicken soup takes longer then one hour to cook. the longer it cooks the better it taste just cook on med to low heat when the chicken fall of the bone you know its done you can never over cook chicken soup
You can use Chicken breat to on the bone i use 2 whole breats cut in half

OMG, talk about being psychic! This vid popped up in recommendations at the same time I'm planning my dinner menu---one component is using the tortellini in my fridge for soup. Perfect timing bec it is very chilly by me now. It's sock weather so that means SOUP.

@@edsonlizarraga9633 .....Meaning the weather has turned so chilly that I can't just slip my bare feet into shoes and go out and about. And, walking around my apartment in my bare feet is too chilly to do on hardwood floors, so I have to wear socks all the time, indoors and out, till Spring. I eat hot soup only when it's COLD.

I’ve noticed you use pecorino over parmaggiano a lot- is there a reason? Absolutely love your videos, you are wonderful!
I live in Italy and I can say that it depends where he is from. Pecorino has a stronger flavour but it is also pricey. I prefer parmigiano but if you like stronger flavors then try pecorino.
Parmigiano is the cow milk cheese and pecorino is the sheep milk cheese.

I'm surprised the chicken does not look overcooked. He cooked it for one hour. He certainly knows what he's doing. Slow cooking is the key.
