    im probably a m.sok, i focus on elbow like 50-55% of all my combined training including kicks,punches and knees , but then again my background is karate and basic kung fu so I'm not a traditional MT fighter 😅😅 also im expnading my training to silat ,judo or BJJ in the autumn so😅😊😊

    Prefer the Muay Tae style for sure, love the teeping to keep them off or throw them and keeping the distance til I find an opening to strike

    I'm a mongo southpaw. That mean that my power punch is my left and my power and speed leg is my right. Neither of my teachers knew what to call it but on a skate board or snow board a left-hand riding person(goofy foot )keeps their right foot forward but most goofyfoots push with their left leg. I ride goofy foot but I swivel and push with my right foot like a "Mongo" or sorta hippie caveman.. I realized it carried over into fighting when I was about 10 and started taking a Kempo class, but really came into focus when I was 24 and started taking Muay Thai. My teacher thought it was really cool and dangerous because I'm kind of a nightmare for southpaws too. The bad thing is that unless you're going to fight a goofy footed mongo it's almost pointless to soar and train with my as a sparring partner. What it boils down to or what Ive decided after quite a few fights is that, except for a jab to determine distance, I have very little reason to not hit you with a hard left hook Uppercut or cross or a hard kick from my power leg. Because I'm just used to fighting and skating this way it doesn't take any more energy for me to power kick with my lead leg.. Same as pivoting and pumping with my right leg to skateboard. Btw I'm 53 now and I still drop into a pool in the rare occasion and I'm currently teaching a 45 year old stroke survivor to box and Muay Thai fight. Wtf the health care system basically told him to go home and watch TV so I said heII with that, I'll teach him to read and write and lie to him about being a drummer and not a guitar player because let's face it, sometimes I really need a drummer and boxing fighting and drumming have to be good for the rewiring of his scrambled egg of a brain right not now and that really all I know besides painting houses. I think he'll be back out there making and selling speed in 3 years tops. 😃

    I think there’s a bit of a misunderstanding here Samson was traditionally trained as a muay Khao but became a muay Bouk and Dekkers was a Dutch kick-boxer not a muay matt

    The best for me I guess is muay femur. Being able to outsmart your opponent and exploit their weaknesses needs a great fight IQ.

      It's not outsmarting bro it's more like vision, range management, evade, counter, and composure (I'm a femur btw)

      @CombatCultureUSA  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Based on your build, muay mat is what you’ll likely hear the most, but I think you should pursue whatever style you enjoy the most.

      It's often said that taller fighters, Muay Khao, and shorter fighters, Muay Mat, but I personally like Kru F's response, "Do whichever style you like best".

      @CombatCultureUSA  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      He’s a good example of a fighter with multiple styles. I think most people associate him as more of a Muay Khao fighter, but he’s said in an interview he considers himself Muay Bouk.
