You certainly made the right decision. The climate is a big factor for me as well as a fellow German.
Can you maybe do a video on how to get a fully remote "online" job? Maybe you have some tips or can even go into more detail. This is the biggest barrier to entry for aspiring expats that do not have any passive income and don't make it as influencer. Also my fear is that fully remote jobs in the IT-sector will fall victim quickly to outsourcing or will get replaced by more capable AI-technology in the future.

Hey ich kanns versuchen! =) I personally wouldn't strive for just an "remote online job" I would ask myself what benefits or solutions I can offer to someone and make my own thing out of it. I like the idea of being your own boss and do whatever you want 😄 lets see what I can do, thanks for letting me know! Youre in the IT sector?
Thanks for the reply and considering a dedicated video about this topic. I'm very curious about your experiences as a self-employed expat. Personally, I'm working as a data analyst/manage, so not really IT but somewhat related. These jobs can be done fully remotely obviously but I fear that without a solid network of potential customers and partners it is impossible to become a self-employed freelancer. Anyway, would be amazing to hear your story in that regard. Kinda off-topic compared to your other videos but your life-style seems very unique overall and I bet other people would be interested in that subject as well.@@muaymichael

Nice! It was not a Pro Debut to be fair, but this year I will train for Rajadamnern ❤ Oh there are a lot of Platforms, Facebook Marketplace works also but you need a residency or a long term visa for renting local houses =) For shot term you have sadly expensive overpriced Airbnbs here. A week short-term is one months rent for a nice Thai house if you know how to do it right 😅 Video soon, thanks for your support 🚀
Can you do a top 25 recommended Muay gyms or similar?
Only been to 5 Gyms here 😄 have to visit more, then sure!

yo bro im 17 looking to go to a muai thai camp for a coupel months never fought before and want to be a fighter and advice on where to go dont want to end up i a fitness camp
Hey Henry good job. What do you mean by "fitness camp"? every muay thai class is a small fitness camp, especially the padwork 😂🔥 if you want to fight professional you have to go to Bangkok or at least Phuket/Pattaya (Bangla Stadium/Max Muay Thai Fights)

Bisschen Muay Thai mach ich auch, aber ist bei mir eher ein Hobby.

Bin bisschen außerhalb der City, ist eig Standard-Preis 😄 mein Townhouse in Old Town Chiang Mai hier war gatt 500€
@@muaymichael ah okay, dann passt es doch. Ich lebe hier in Chiang Rai für das gleiche Geld (inkl. Utilities), aber in einem Apartment für Short Term (kann jeden Monat raus).

Korea is forced to live just like others
you have to go university at right time after that u should go to get 9to5 pm company job and u should marry on right time blah blah blah
In Korea, there are shared values and if you deviate from them even a little bit, they look at you badly. I hate it so i choosed to go my own way.

Pollution in Bangkok and Chiang Mai is insane. If you live there for years it will shorten you life expectancy by many years. PM2.5 in Bangkok is around 200µg/m3 today, which is absolutely insane and even in Chiang Mai it is between 70 - 140µg/m3 which is actually "a good day for Chiang Mai" still 10 times above safe levels.
Often Chiang Mai and Bangok are in the Top 10 of most polluted cities in the world.
Yes Pollution is not the best in the cities 😄

@@muaymichael No, Thailand is great. I agree with your points that the people are awesome and you get good service for an affordable price. Cost of living is amazing. Muay Thai is also a great sport and there is no better place to train than in Thailand...
I want to give you one advice: Don´t make a video flexing that you are working online and don´t pay any taxes. Working in Thailand is illegal (online or not, that´s irrelevant) for you as long as you don´t have a work permit and can result in deportation. If they immigration authorities question you about that it will be hard for you to prove them wrong because you basically admitted it yourself in the video...

If the country has an income tax and you're living there, you should have enough respect for your host country that you pay your taxes. This is especially true for someone who is obviously more well off than most of the locals. Skirting around having to pay taxes is not a flex.
It's an opportunity given by the government itself Foreigners can benefit from this was made to attract people from overseas, Thailand is making good money from Tourism and people who decide to retire or live here). Educate yourself about the laws 😄And don't tell me that when your Country were about giving you opportunities to save your money on Taxes you wouldn't take it, that's hypocritical
