More questions of you guys 👇 1) What are the best parts to live in, and parts to avoid. - Chiang Mai & Ko Phangan are my favourites! Pattaya is getting a bit dangerous, but if you know the areas you should be fine 2) what is your martial art background - Zero. I wore my first boxing gloves last summer, started my first Muay Thai session in October 22 =) 3) how tf are you so good - No comment 😂🙏 4) How viable is it to become an established/respected fighter as a farang/foreigner? - If you are learning the Wai Kru and respect the culture, thai ppl will love you! 5) What are gyms that you would recommend novices/intermediates to train at? - To be honest, not the famous ones. Choose a small gym where you get your deserved attention, instead of having 2 trainers for 30 people in the class. Thats why I am right now at a local gym who doesn't even use social media or something 6) How does the weigh-ins work? What are the weight classes? Are you punished for not making a set weight? In the amateur fights there are weight-in just before the fight, they aren't that strict and have a little bit of tolerance 😊
How did you go about finding the gym you are currently at? When it comes to finding small gyms I want to know the kru has a decent succesful career and that their match fixing is good. I have heard some horror stories about that. got any tips for finding small local ones without big online prescense?
@@leocuntface Yes I understand. I just found my local gym when I moved outside of chiang mai into a village and it was the only one that showed up on google maps 😄 Maybe thats the key, moving outside of the big cities and go village-mode. Chiang Mai, BKK, Phuket and co. are full with tourists trying Muay Thai, so the gyms will be full every day
I think if you need to pay for the gym, you don't need to share much of your rewards. I think usually fighters and gyms earn more on betting on the winning side.??

Is 15000 per fight really the maximum you can make fighting in Bangkok? I would have guessed you’d make a lot more if you fought in Rajadamnern or Lumpinee stadium? I have no clue though. Where are you getting that 15000 number from?
A friend of mine got 7,000 THB at his Rajadamnern Knockout Fight 😄 Another one is fighting this month on 28th and he also will get less than 15,000. Google is saying the "top fighters" there can get up to 60,000 THB, maybe thats for the bigger names... 15k is pretty solid, thats a average wage here in Thailand, they can earn that with only 1 fight. What numbers did you expect? =)
@@muaymichael yes, given the average wage in Thailand I suppose that’s not too bad! @@muaymichael yes but ฿10,000,000 for bouts that are not real Muay Thai but a modified ruleset with 4oz MMA gloves and scoring that makes it so the only way to win is to attack. What sort of visa do you use personally? I've done the tourist visa, extension, and visa run before, but i know some gyms offer the Muay Thai visa and I'm hoping to find not only a gym that offers the visa, but also has high quality training.
