@@leon.690sm9 You're so confident while being completely wrong 😂. Isn't that annoying? They're allowed to build something like that and drive it legally on the road. BUT, full throttle in 4th, 5th or even 6th gear is illegal (speed limit). In Germany you are allowed to drive that fast, but building something like that is illegal. Btw.: I would like to have a "Tipo 184" (kit car from England, with MX-5/Miata parts), but that is also illegal here in Germany.
My only question is what is the longevity gonna look like. People say a bike is worn out after like 40k miles and that's ALOT more load on that thing than a 450lb bike.
who are these people saying a bike is worn out after 40k miles? Most japanese bikes can go 100k+ miles easily if properly maintained. I don't see anyone driving a car like this more than a few thousands miles a year anyways, it's a toy/track car rather than a commuter or road trip car.
@@kallo182 yes slow. That thing is screaming and barely moving. You also forgot to mention that 70 ftlbs of torque. The engine is designed to move a 500 pound bike. Not a 2000 pound car. So yea it’s slow.
@@ReedMakeCar yes. What did you put in the rear end? Even if you put a 4:56 or something like that still wouldn’t make up for it. What is the cars curb weight right now?
@@superbarnie Even without a quick-shifter, you can usually upshift a sequential without a clutch, just lift off the throttle. Not good for the transmission, but it works. This coming from a CBR-1000RR it probably has a quick shifter though.
@@rightwingsafetysquad9872 You are correct, except for one part. There's no harm to the transmission from shifting this way. An actual quickshifter does the same exact thing, except instead of lifting the throttle to reduce load, the quickshifter cuts ignition when you are pulling on the gear shifter lever. So the mechanic is the same either way.
