The 2.4ghz mode off the dongle will be like using a standard wireless headset that uses a dongle so little to no latency at all. The Bluetooth mode will probably have some latency though
I think all of compared you want, are based on your used to. For me, I love the feature like...2.4G/BT mode are parallel, I can aware the ring coming if who call me from phone even I within 2.4g mode on PC.

Looks like they are utilizing that Jabra acquisition, these look like jabra elite 5s, which are amazing earbuds. Not labra was the first earbud company to have native device muting of the mic!
I own the Gamebuds and the Asus Cetra Speednova. I prefer the Asus SN. The Asus SN simply get louder and have more kick. The Gamebuds have a very subdued loudness. I'm always looking at the volume button for more. It's not the volume limiter. The Nova Pro Wireless lack the top end volume of it's competitors as well. The Maxwells get way louder. I think the ANC is just okay. It's about a tie with the Asus SN. Where the Gamebuds shine is comfort (although the stock tips are cheap and need to go ASAP). I wore the Gamebuds for 3 hours the other day and forgot I had them on. I like the fact that they fit me similar to the WF-XM5s. The app and the game profiles is another great feature. I agree they need to do something about all the EQ features overlapping. I agree these are a buy.. Dekoni or someone else will come through with memory foam tips.
@@acscw8408 I got them from Best Buy. My Buds arrived on the 19th.. Highly recommend, especially if you like SteelSeries. My replacement tips are coming in on Tuesday. I think they will give the SS Buds a nice boost.
You had me sold until I found out you can't use the 2.4ghz on pc and Bluetooth your phone at the same time like my Asus Cetra true wireless can. Being able to game with the dongke on my pc and take calls on Bluetooth simultaneously is priceless for me. If they implement that into these earbuds in a software update, which i'm sure they can, I will buy them for sure.
You kinda can. They can be connected to the phone and PC or console same time. But ye not have sound at the same time. I think that's to keep them sounding the best they can. But if u take a call just triple tap it and u can use it on ur phone
How would you compare the sound vs. Soundcore VR P10 Ear Buds? I'm not sure if you've had a chance to test or try those but I've been using them with PS5 and they sound great. The battery of the steel series being around 10 hrs on one charge is already a winner.

I use the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4. Is this headset as good as sennheiser? For gaming, I use anker vr p10 on the computer. Is it much better than Anker?
Weird, as mine is running at 0% Cpu while watching this atleast. Sonar uses 200mb and SS client uses 250mb of ram. Half 1 GB of ram for using sonar is probably worth it/fine unless you are somehow using alot of ram for other activities

I don’t know if I just got a defective pair but I installed my earbuds did the firmware updates and the sound quality was terrible and people could not hear me when I spoke . The bass and everything sounded like blown speakers
Idk about these but I had inzone and returned them, maybe it was only my bad luck but, apart from the static white noise, I've got multiple disconnections from the dungle which wasn't acceptable for me with the price tag. It's a shame bcz, they are the only buds which have chatmix button on themselves which is an important fact for me.
Pretty cool review, good job. Though for $150 doubloons, I think I'd go with something by Moondrop or Truthear then buy a standalone Mic as a PC user. It's been nearly impossible for me to go back to gaming brand audio when I could get something made by actual audio companies and use Dolby's EQ like in this video to customize it. Dolby Access is very handy, it's nice to have.

these are not working on PC. i cannot get any sound at all. received today. tried update, tried sonar, tried with usb and usb-c still no sound. not on Windows10, not on my MAC either, couldnt get any sound on both PC
Well i got some issues on pc. Bluetooth the app doesnr recognize it with the dogle it does. Mic doesnt work tried everything but with windows test no response.
is there anyone that managed to get the Bluetooth latency for those? sometimes I need my USB C free for charging while gaming, would be nice to know since I don't think they have a "gamemod" through bluetooth

I had the same problem. Open the Engine app on PC and make a custom EQ cranking everything up to 6+dB. This helped me with the low volume on PS5, Maybe I'm losing some details but now the sound is on par with PC. If you like it, make another EQ with 8+dB, sometimes I switch to this one, it depends on the game. Is your ANC working? Mine is fucked up after the update.

As an owner of the Jane’s elite 5’s these match the physical design of those, down tot he shape of the button… I love Jane’s earbuds so my wallet is not happy to see these exist lol!
@@Hijynx87 how techne described the sound signature is accurate with how the elite 5 sound. Loud crisp and detailed; they have a balanced sound. These seem to have a much more involved EQ, so that’s really cool. The elite 5 had an EQ too which was good enough for casual listening. And the comfort, if you have a soft enough pillow you can sleep in them; I have to listen to our baby monitor while sleeping next to newborn! I’m curious if the steel series use verbal notifications (the elite 5 do) or tone notifications for like mic mute and connected devices .

So far in really liking them. The biggest win for me is the eq are on your phone and not stored on a DAC. Meaning my steam deck benefits from the eqs!

These do have switchable Transparency/ANC mode!
With the flat toggle these gonna be the best thing to use for Nintendo Switch - audio and works with voice chat (supported games).

Bought them today for 128€. They will replace my 5x. Just waited for some good in ears to use with Xbox, Switch and Playstation 5.

Have you tried pairing with a pc with the Sonar software? It usually has a toggle where you can disable the volume limit. Check it out! 07:48

just use jlab cloud foams, I bet they fit. or spinfit omni medical grade silicone.

The audio never worked for me after jumping through hoops with every sound setting in windows11 and Sonar. They would never output to the gamebuds.

Jlab epic lab edition are also an option, but nothing beats a solid set of iems and a dac/amp like a qudelix 5k to eq on console.

Sony Inzones are trash. Huge fan of the JBL TWS. I'm going to compare them vs these. I prefer the OG bud shape and not these so we'll see.

Had to return it. Too uncomfortable, unbearable after 15-20min, even with the smallest eartip
