    Due to circumstances in life, i couldn’t go down the medicine route at the age I wanted to (18/19). I studied and graduated with a degree in Accounting (at the time the hours were better for looking after my daughter). I’m now 34 and my daughter is 17. I’ve never stopped wanting to study medicine. That feeling has never left me and I’m scared all my education is too old to apply graduate course. I was born with 2 rare disorders. Congenital diaphragmatic hernia at birth, then at 7 months old, fell into a coma. I was diagnosed at Yorkhill Sick Childrens Hospital with MCAD deficiency(commonly misdiagnosed with Reye’s syndrome). Since a child, I have took an enthusiastic approach to learning what I can aside my adult career.

    Hi Ilya, she mentioned GCSE science topics in the video. Did she mean A-level, or does the MMI build on academic knowledge obtained at GCSE?

    The official website announces that only applicants with home fee status will be considered, what does that mean? So I can’t do the Cambridge graduate entry route as an international student?

    • @IlyasCambridgeAdvice
      @IlyasCambridgeAdvice  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately it means that only "home fee status" students can get in. Check here if you qualify www.postgraduate.study.cam.ac.uk/finance/fees/what-my-fee-status

    Hi, you mention that Cambridge don’t require the BMAT for graduate entry right? Also, is it only A Level Chemistry that is required or do you still need A*AA alongside a 2:1?

      I have that same question but I think so

    hey if I get a 2:2 in my undergraduate but a 1st in my MSc conversion course will they consider the new award I have received considering it is not a typical MSc but quite an intense, tightly packed 1year course ( 8 modules) and a dissertation and you receive a BPS accreditation for it?

    • @IlyasCambridgeAdvice

      Probably best to ask admissions tutor to see what they think
